Lucatn's method is far easier and he explains everything for you, and even does the "what if" situations... this version has no vocal guidance whatsoever... just a bare one or two turns and he does it... he doesn't do the algorithms either... this was a crappy video... sorry, no guidance, no alternative scenarios, no nothing... this is basically RESTATING the INSTRUCTION MANUAL that comes with the cube...

@ColdweekAH if you watch pogobats vid, write down the algorithms, & then watch this vid, its the same exact method. I agree that the pogobat tutorial vid is the best, that's how I learned to "beginner solve". I did get my hands on the dvd that comes with the actual rubiks cube & the speed record holder teaches some advanced moves. i incorporated those advanced moves into pogobat's method and i can solve in just under 2 minutes. still not as fast as i want but its def. worth checking out.

@TheTejas104 The problem you're having means that the remaining two corners need to be flipped. At this point your cross should be correct so your good in that regard but the only thing you need to do to fix your remaining to corners is move one of the corners to the bottom layer, then put it in its proper place. See 2:25

Friderich method uses 4 steps

Cross

F2L- solve first 2 layers at the same time

OLL- orient entire top layer ( make top face yellow)

PLL -permute entire top layer (makes it so pieces around the top layer match)

You can take the cube apart by turning the first layer 45 degrees and then taking out the middle piece. I would do this opposed to trying to take off the stickers. Just let me know if you want or need some help on the cube if you do find some time and want to learn the technique.

You show how to get them (the four pieces) in the right places if they are positioned at the top middle only, but what if they're not in that position?

Using this method, i can only get about 1:15-1:20 but with the method that I use currently I consistently get 1:05-1:08

I solve 1 & 2 layers with basic method, and then I solve the 3rd layer by solving all the top color and then correct the corners, and then move the middles around (H & Z perm).

I think i figured out whats wrong.. once you fix the first corner, you rotate the upper layer to the right, once youve got that corner you dont switch the layer you move the cube so that the two fixed corners are in the back and the unfixed ones are facing you. and do the sequence again, for the third corner, once that is solves turn the upper layer to the right and solve the 4th corner..

i probably sound so confusing, but i think what im trying to say is correct :)

No actually what you are saying makes a lot of sense, at least to me it does. The corner that you are changing the orientation of always needs to be in the bottom right(assuming you were looking at the cube from the top.)

this is awesome, great instrutions. one thing thogh.. the last step never works for me. I always make sure the corner pieces are in the correct position and i do the step slowly to make sure iam doing it right... but when i finish all my other pieces are messed up.. any ideas why??

This is where everyone messes up, I would suggest double and triple checking both 1st and 2nd layer pieces, as well as the 3rd layer middle pieces. Then after doing this I would very carefully do the Ri Di R D algorithm NOTE:When doing this algorithm make sure that you are actually doing Ri(towards you), Di(to left), R(away from you), D(right)until that corner is correct.
