There might be some violence relative to one of the games but its nowhere in the scope of how it is in Europe. The NFL has gone out of way to make itself "family-friendly". Even in the MLS (soccer), we don't have hooliganism.
I will admit that it isn't nearly as bad as what happened in Germany, but in their case it has an added history, nationalism and racism fueling the fire. Next time, the police should take a harder stance.
