What type of mesh is good for the crankcase and what's the best way to attach it. I know what I want for steering servo but what's a good throttle/brake servo. Your input would be much appreciated.

Bajas are awesome. I've got the 5bss and 5t. Radio I'm using is a spek dx 3 which is a good one but will upgrade to nicer spek or futaba 3pm mx, probably go with the latter and better servos. Yesterday I got some awesome upgrades, top end to put the 5t's 26cc to 28.5, walbro 990 carb, turtle racing complete closed clutch system with 17 tooth pinion, tr tranny plate with one piece brake brace, tr top plate, and team chase roll cage. Also got modified rc quick change tubes for my 5bss roll cage.

i have a baja 5t.it has proline Trencher Off-Road tires. and the same pipe you have.also i have the shock covers,air filter cover,and pull start cover.and a 26cc motor. and i totally agree with him about the power and noise of that pipe. totally recommended it

i have a baja 5b,for like 6 - 7 months,and i was running him only when i got him,and i got bored after,and one of these days i went for a run,and it seems like,when i go full thro,it doesnt go as fast or as...how can i say this,like at full thro,he sounded LOUDER,and now not so loud,and it takes a few secs to get it to "top speed" it wasnt like that at the begining,and no,i dont take so much care of it,wat should i do now? Thank you!

Where did u get those bead locks and how much

My baja has a 29cc and the DDM dominator pipe so it rapes the poor rear bead locks

Also I run mine at 20-1 oil ratio

Because the oil adds compression to the engine and gives it more power :)

hey dude, my hpi baja is on the way but i have a one gallon jug of fuel and this gallon needs 155ml of oil, so the oil that comes with hpi does it have 160ml in tha back label, or is it less, what i mean is just tell me how many ml doese it hold? please answer thanks...

i got a ? i got a baja and every time i run it for 1 hr or so and turn if off there's always some oil in the tailpipe its not alot if oil just alittle is that normal or im i doing something wrong

@mad I have a question for you. I have a king motor 2speed 23cc and at mid to high rpm's the engine starts to break up like it sounds like it has a bad valve but I don't think these have valves and it has loss of power I tried tunning and nothing no change the one way bearing is good and it's sluggish from the start it didn't usto be like that it just started running like this hope you can help thanks

hi i have a baja5bss but after losing control of the radio and crashing i fixed the the broken swing arms on the front but the eingine wont start keep in mind ive changed the plug but it still wont start. i miss my baja please help:(

hey dude im looking at gettting a baja, i already have a hpi e savage but wana get something better. ive been looking at all the bajas and i want it mainly for jumps and speed. but im not sure weather to get the 5b the 5t or the 5sc, please help!!

@fergieboy921 Bajas aren't the best for jumping. Go for something smaller if your wanting to jump big. As for which Baja to choose if you do get one... I'd go for the latest 5sc, it has all the new goodies on it haha ;)

@nitromad48 hey my baja keeps blowing plugs i think its to rich im running ngk cmr7h and when i pull the plug its black on the end and the fuel ratio is 24:1 i am wondering if thats to rich other than that i love my baja came from nitro and am very happy with it...would a 8,000rpm clutch increase low end power thanks plz reply fast

@fergieboy921 I think the 5b ss is overall the best off all the baja's but the 5t has the best ability for off road and very soft sand never gets stuck

@fergieboy921  Get a 5b ss it is really good overall and u get to make it ur self so when ur done u feel v.v.proud of it... best of all i bought 2 of them at the same i made 1 piece with eight wheels and a twin 26cc engine so a 52 cc engine with twin exhaust

Hey Nitromad48,I've Been thinking really hard about getting a BAJA 5b but I want 2 convert it 2 a BRUSHLESS with the conversion kit Castle Creation came out with . 4 that reason I think I will only purchase a roller , so tell me what you think and the best way 2 do it

what do you think may have happerend if my baja wont move, in was driving it and wen i press throttle it revs but wont move any suggestions on wat has happerend and how to fix it

@1698oscar Take off the gear cover and start it up, if the spur gear and clutch are turning at high speed when you give it throttle then it's your diff, if they arent moving then it's your clutch.

@marcriganoskate Well depending on the condition of the baja but personally I'd tear down both of your trucks and sell them in pieces because you will definitely get more money that way and most likely more value than what you'd be getting for a traded baja. Then you could go ahead and buy the baja yet still have extra money....thats how I roll ;)
