Duke Nukem has always been linear, it's a first-person shooter from the 90's for Christ sake! Were you expecting "deep moral choices" or some shit? Granted, the graphics and load times are awful but I enjoyed it thoroughly, regardless. It was a goofy, fun ride and I sincerely hope another one is made. Hopefully the next time the development isn't plagued with mishaps.

Old duke nukem secrets multiple ways to go big free maps. today you just have 1 way to run all the time, im not talking about the story but about the maps themselves. I don't think this is the worst game ever made, but it's defiantly not a ''good'' game. They just used the ''Duke Nukem'' name to make it sell, it wasn't even made by the 3d realms guys, so it was basicly a whole series just using the old duke nukem name.

@MikkelKuckelhahn Not made by 3d Realms? The build for DNF was around 90% finished before 3d realms closed down, Gearbox just finished up the last 10%. If you're going to be mad at anyone it should be "those 3d Realms guys." As for Duke Nukem 3d not being linear, you're still wrong. Old school shooters like DOOM, QUAKE, and Duke only create an illusion of non-linear level design via the ever so dated key card mechanic. It's a relic and I herald it's death.
