Trust me dude, the trip mine was amazing, it killed right on the spot! It was very deadly!

The weapons were more powerful & better, especially the carbine! The graphics were better & you were even able to glitch out of maps like in Halo 2! Even the gameplay was better!

You were even able to go out into space with the banshee! But Bungie fucked it all up!

So now the retail version sucks ass!

Let's just say this, if I can trade in my copy of Halo 3 for the beta, then I would do it on the spot!

I've seen the textures for the retail and the beta, The beta's textures are more detailed, and have height and normal maps. The Retail textures look more solid, and less weathered.

Actually, the model they used for the spartans in the beta was the same model they used for master chief in the campaign, which is why their armor was a bit beat up. The reason they couldn't do this in the final game was because of all the armor customization.

Yeah I know, though the Chief has a separate texture for his visor too, explains why it was asymmetrical, what was worse is that the textures weren't as weathered and beat up as the spartan textures.

@MrEzproductions Late answer but.. Bungie had recoloured the campaign Master Chief armour which had a higher quality of texture. It slightly lagged the game so they got rid of it, the visor was also made slightly crapper so it would optimise the game.

Not really, they go by the ratings to see if the material they use is in a video is of good quality.

They know what parts are funny and what is not, its like if you made a red pen then someone takes it and shoves it in your face and say this pen is red. Even though you knew it was since you made it.

Oh and another thing to point out, video directors avoid using the same material or something similar to it as much as possible. If they continue to use the same type of material their films will become repetitive and thus their videos become boring and they lose fans/viewers.
