  • buy a OS???..... HAHAHAHA!

  • DESKTOP dude not DEKSTOP. omg!

  • Isn't it true that Ultimate is faster than Home Premium and Professional?

  • @xL3z Nope. Apparently not :)

  • how do you get that google symbol/taskbar pin on the right of your start button?

  • @mella206 That was a very nice widget for your taskbar, made by Google. It would glow different colors and with a click, it would expand into a search box that would help you search Google and your computer. That was 3 years ago; google has discontinued this product; so, no one can get it anymore.

  • to live with a computer os, i'd choose mac for everything else then windows for gaming

  • dude seriously u talk to much i had to skip like 10 mins before i got to the review

  • hes jerking off at the same time hahaha

  • Man ! your voice made me think that my speakers are having some sorta problem :P what the hell !

  • @JexoJahanzeb :D:D:D

  • The reason why I'd get Ultimate is because of its compatibility with NFS (a UNIX remote file sharing thing). But because I can easily make a Samba server on Linux, there's no other reason for Ultimate. I'll probably upgrade to Professional instead.

  • @Nazmus1992 Hey, a question, I have two versions, Home Premium and Ultimate both Windows 7, (legal versions) on discs I purchased from BestBuy. I am just worried if Ultimate takes up significantly more HDD space than Home Premium since I have a limited hard drive of 640GB and need every GB of it for other files.

  • @joneperry they both take up the same disk space. You need 20 GB to install 64bit (16GB for 32 bit) Windows 7 (any edition).

  • @Nazmus1992 Thank you very much, going to install Ultimate now.

  • Comment removed

  • I see no difference between Pro and Ultimate.. but to be honest with you, I never payed for either :)

  • @norge696 your lucky Microsoft isn't bothered much with illegal personal pc users, if you did that for business Microsoft would make you pay until your homeless(and that's after some jail time).

  • @THE16THPHANTOM I'm not lucky. because in Microsofts eyes I have a legit copy of windows7.

  • Iam so glad that i bought windows 7 professional

  • i have to say ultimate is not faster than home premium AT ALL. i have to say ultimate is basicly home premium with language packs. i want a fucking refund please.

  • if you cant afford it. Then one word

    Torrents

  • well I could go ulti, but I'll settle for pro

  • you can only have 16gb of ram on windows 7 home premium.

  • @1BYEBYE1 only 16 gb >:D idk what programs your running but most i've seen is 8gb used :[

  • Hay i am from the UK and i am a chef i work in the summer in the UK and in the winter i work in Austria. I am all so a writer cooking books that sort of thing some well know ones. So i use my computer for work but for the english and german speaking market so the being abel to change language wold be good for me plus my girl friend speaks german. Also i have had some good selling books and i think its a good piece of mind knowing that my work can not be aces. So is ultimate worth it for me

  • @ryso18 Microsoft provides language packs for Windows 7 as free download! You don't even need to have Ultimate for some languages. Some do require the ultimate edition. I will send you a PM about where to download additional language packs for Windows 7. Hope that helps!

  • ESTA LOKO PENDEJO FUCK YOU

    WDF

  • cut the crap and get straight to the point: 3:02

  • so would you say windows 7 home premieum is just as great a windows 7 ultimate? i got home premieum.

  • @ThisComputerGuy If you don't do anything very technical with your computer that IT pros do, then yea, you wouldn't have gained anything by getting Ultimate. For a home user, Home Premium is perfect. :)

  • Not sure if you know about this, but Im running vista and can STILL get a virtual Windows XP. It's called VMWare Player. A virtual Machine within yours. So with that there, you do NOT need even Professional. Especially considering you can backup you files manually yourself.

  • ok so apart from a few features most people dont need there is no difference between the three versions? personally i dont need any business services or secure backup, if i need to back things up i put them on discs which are secure cuz theyre not connected to any network (duh). so my question is... why would anyone get ultimate?

  • like this comment if you have Windows 7 Ultimate (Y)

  • please stop saying dextop D=

  • Ultimate! FTW

  • hey man awesome vid!!! where did you get your cursor?

  • @thenighthawk63 The cursor is from SPORE. Google SPORE cursors and you should see them.

  • @thenighthawk63 The cursor is from SPORE. Google SPORE cursors and you should see them.

  • windows ultimate should be used for motavational speakers

  • Microsoft Made 30 accounts and disliked this video

  • Windows 7 Ultimate adds 1gb of RAM and 0.01Ghz's to your pc ;)

  • @MegaGamerTech

    dose it really?

  • @MAriofebles0 Yea it unlocks the ram for speed & the 0.01ghz for slightly better overall performance.

  • @MegaGamerTech

    Bullshit

  • @TechnicCreations It's not bullshit... The 1gb of ram isn't useable and your pc will tell you this if you know where to look but that 1gb of ram is all deticated for extra speed in windows 7 & it works, i got this effect when i switched from xp to windows 7

  • @MegaGamerTech

I think what you are thinking of is 32 and 64bit. If you try and run 3 or more gigs on a 32bit version of Windows, you will only be able to use 2.99gb.

  • @TechnicCreations Yea but sill you get that extra speed at least from my exspirience

  • i have professional on my eee pc

  • If I update from windows 7 Professional to Windows 7 Ultimate with Windows Anytime Upgrade, does it remove anything?

  • @firendable No, it doesn't remove anything. It only adds features. :)

  • It's desktop, not decks top

  • I use windows 7 ultimate pirated edition which I bought for about 10$ and I install all windows updates by using advanced systemcare and I have turned off windows update and firewall in control panel!

  • but does windows 7 have a better performance in gaming than windows vista? plzz reply.

  • @qiotzo sure

  • @MyVideosi7 thanks man xd

  • @qiotzo No Problems :) I'm a gamer and try gamer edition os

  • Sounds like half your toungue is missing. And im gonna gues you have curly hair, am i right?

  • I didnt pay for Windows 7 ^.^ so I got ultimate just because

  • i have home premium and it does everything and more than what i need and its awesome! ultimate really only has small things like bitlocker and diffrent languages

  • why the fuck do you sound like you have down syndrome

  • why the fuck do you sound like you have down syndrome

  • @Graffer552 Why do you double-post and act socially in public like you have complete-cranial-failure?

  • when i need a new os..i get a new laptop.

  • @macwtf i'd say professional is ideal for home users solely 'cause of the xp mode.

  • I personally recommend the W7 Ultimate, it has more features!

yours truly, an W7 Professional user (this version rocks too!! xD)

  • @TheVideogameDC maybe that's why it's more expensive...hm i wonder?

  • nice video, great explanation

  • but is it worth pirating? YES!

  • They need to make a windows 7 gaming edition

  • @Goldenfury12 why? just buy home... or pro if you got a pc that has over 16gb of memory

  • @5T34LTHcamoT4NK no that wont work because all versions of windows 7 works with gaming just as well but all depends how much ram your pc runs

  • @Goldenfury12 no shit dumb shit, thats what i said, THEY are all the same, why wuld you need a windows 7 gaming editon? what wuld it have more

  • @5T34LTHcamoT4NK no you didnt you say that.I thought you were saying that pro and home is better.Sorry to make you mad overrated piece of shit

  • @Goldenfury12 NO SHIT there batter, do you now whats better about ultimate? it has remote over internet included... and more stupid shit you dont need

  • @5T34LTHcamoT4NK I do have windows 7 ultimate and yes it does have some stupid shit...but that doesn't matter. There not that much better than the other.Ultimate only comes with a few more things than home premium let alone pro.

  • @Goldenfury12 whats the best edition for gaming ?

  • @zawette it doesn't matter. It depends on your computers core processor

  • @Goldenfury12 that would be home premium, professional is idiots who think home premium is worse, ultimate for rich paranoid guys or teens living with their parents (the bitlocker)

home premium is for smart people, well fuck it, home premium is for EVERYONE (unless you own a real business then you get enterprise) all those extra features are practically fucking useless, and as a gamer, the fuck do you do, besides games, and no windows feature is going to help with that

  • @Goldenfury12 that would be home premium, professional is idiots who think home premium is worse, ultimate for rich paranoid guys or teens living with their parents (the bitlocker)

  • @DaBurntToaster yeah but alot of gaming pc's have professional and ultimate. But i don't see much of a difference between each other when it comes to gaming.

  • @Goldenfury12 technically pro and ult will be worse for the average use because of all the extra fluff the system probably has to load up using up ram and processor power, but with somethin like an i5/ i5 or phenom II quad or higher, you wont have any problems, but for someone like me with an I3, i think it would probably make a difference

  • is there any edition that is particularly better for gaming?

  • @Chiliplease No, all editions provide the same gamig capabilities.

  • @Nazmus1992 & @Chiliplease yes, if you got 16gb of ram and a 2x 3gb graphics card your gonna need pro to run your pc at full power

  • i used windows anytime upgrade and i got windows 7 ultimate for FREE!!!!

  • Ur speech sucked cock

  • i got a laptop with win 7by trading an ultimate. i got it by trading an old peice of crap paint spryer

  • i think windows 7 is worth it bitlocker really protected me

  • I feel this could of been explained in 5 minutes.. but i do appreciate the help (Liked)

  • Why do you say "dekstop" instead of "desktop"?

  • My netbook came with starter. I upgraded to home premium free. Not as good as professional but it's a HUGE leap from starter. And it was so easy!!

  • It is pronounced Desktop not decks top

  • bahaha u guys can get windows free its gonna take less time and if u know what ur doing u prolly wont get viruses

  • Dude wtf us wrong with you chill the fuck out the way you talk pissis me off wtf >:(

  • @Herbertin1 its called stuttering learn it well bitch

  • Desk not Deks.

  • dude its only like twenty bucks more ppl just buy it so they can feel like they have everything not a rip off

  • Its just 10 dollars more for 30+ languages and bitlocker. if you wanna spend 10 more go for ultimate. its not like your throwing 50 or even 100 dollars.

  • Only braggers get Ultimate who truly don't use those features.

  • you suck at English grammar, you need to take an English class again or talk slower so you don't swirl your words.

    nice vid though.

  • learn to talk and stop smacking lips your annoying as hell and you dont even know what you are talking about.

  • thanks man!

  • Its an achievement to just watch this

  • So you won't lose a single thing if you go from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate?

  • @ZakkkyB Nope. Upgrading from home premium to ultimate will not disable or uninstall anything. :)

  • @Nazmus1992 hey you are wrong, i just updated to ultimate (i was on starter) and it does have a new feature and it is: being able to change the display language

  • @Nazmus1992 is windows pro better then ultimate?

  • @bestfighteriam1 no... Ultimate is the Ultimate version... professional is one step lower... but if you're going to use you're PC at home and not do anything special... then fuck Ultimate... get home premium!

  • @PAINmedia thanks :) but i got ati radeon 4530.. home premium and if upgrade it to ultimate it will make it better?

  • @bestfighteriam1 If you upgrade using the "Windows Anytime Upgrade", it will add features to your Home Premium within 10 minutes with no install required. But the chart in the video shows what features you will be getting.

  • @Nazmus1992 ooh thanks ;) (thanks for rplying fast

  • @bestfighteriam1 nope... wont help. Ultimate is just made for some people that do really professional work, and for people who build PC's because youcan have much more RAM with Ultimate and much more...

  • @PAINmedia thanks

  • Win7 Ultimate is freakin fast,. haha! though i just get the cd from

my friend, a clerk on Microsoft shop anyways,. just get the professional

  • If you whant something special just bay Professional

  • why is ultimate cheaper on amazon than home premium?? any1 answer please

  • @mrmuffinman123456789 that question dosent really need to be answered

  • No time is not an excuse. If you don't educate yourself before you buy something you're an idiot, and it's nobodies fault but yours.

  • This is still for free on:

    downloadblinks . C _ O _ M

  • Thankyoou.

  • @PineappleTutorials You're welcome! :)

  • You just saved me £20 worth of my money, i will buy the professional, just one queation... If i use windows anytime upgrade will i still be able to keep all my data, considering im on windows 7 home premium?

  • @PineappleTutorials Yes, if you use Windows Anytime Upgrade, you won't loose any data or any software. Upgrading using Windows Anytime Upgrade does not reinstall the OS, it just enables the all the Professional features in your Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Also, it only takes about 10 minutes to upgrade from Home to Professional. Hope this helps!

  • which one is better? ultimate or professional?

  • For the price of Windows 7 Professional at the Box Store, you can buy Ultimate on eBay. Brand new, too. Of course, you could get Professional on eBay for much less, too.

btw, Nazmus, I don't know if English is your first language but I admire your correct spelling and grammar. I noticed your accent and sometimes when I see videos with people that have unfamiliar accents, they tend to misspell in their descriptions or worse. So cheers, mate!

  • @LtSurge659 Thanks for the compliment! However, English is my first language. This was one my first videos, so I wasn't the best at speaking like this, even after countless tries. :)

  • if u have windows 7 home premium do u have to format to update to ultimate?

  • @numstuck No. You don't have to install anything. Simply purchase the serial code using Window Anytime Upgrade. Then, in Windows Anytime Upgrade, type in the serial key, and click next. It will active the key, and in 10 minutes, you will be running Windows 7 Ultimate! Hope this helps!

  • if you want to get the best os then get OSX

  • do you really talk like that? or is it just the video ?

  • i got 7 ultimate 100% free

  • Just a major WARNING: That list does NOT include everything. For anyone that needs direct access to windows administrative tools, like security policies, you only get that in Ultimate. Thus, $20 more for Ultimate may be worth it to advanced users. Otherwise I agree with this video.

  • @don4of4

  • i had windows 7 starter then i upgraded to ultimate its great im glad i say get ultimate

  • @FunAndJokes i had ultimate then i ubgraded to osx

  • @NDSCollector how can i upgrade to osx?

  • @FunAndJokes buy a mac

  • @TheAcidicGaming is your computer a 64 bit

  • i got windows 7 ultimate its is awesome it hase every thing super easy to use and super fast! its worth $200

  • I got ultimate

  • dude, write a script eh?

  • for me 2 will be great but 3 is not that bad

  • I have Windows 7 Ultimate.

  • you can easily get it 4 free, search youtube "windows 7 ultimate upgrade code"

  • hey im a hardcore gamer and i dont know what the best edition of windows 7 i have to purchase so what your advice ?

  • blah blah blah, wtf man, get to the point!!!!

  • Enough with the history lesson... get to the friggen point!

  • @Jonnycahill In that case theoretically the world will end in 2012.

  • I have a question: If I wanted to use my computer for English, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese, would that only be used in Windows 7 Ultimate Edition?

  • @Fearren In that case, you would need the Windows 7 Ultimate Edition

  • get virtualbox and get windows xp

  • I Say Professional Is The BEST VERSION Of 7. Plus, My Mom Was In College And Since She Had A edu Email Addresses, I Got Win7 Pro For My Computer, FOR ONLY $30 US DOLLARS!

  • Also if I have Home Premium and get 8GB of RAM for my computer will the 64-bit edition use the RAM to the fullest of it's capacity. Or does it have a limit of 6GB or something???

  • @DeathAfterLif3 No with a 64-bit Operating System, you can have up to about 16.3 billion gigabytes of RAM, or 16.3 exabytes of RAM. So don't worry about having too much RAM! A 32 Bit OS, however, can only handle 2 GB of RAM. Therefor, I recommend that you get a 64-bit Windows 7.

  • @Nazmus1992 64bit Windows cant support 16.3 billion GB of RAM you dumbass. Even in the year 3000 our PCs won't have 16.3 billion GB of RAM, maybe servers but no the shit that will be in houses. Different OSs have different limits in this case Windows 64 bit is limited to about 128GB of RAM. Also 32 bit Windows is limited to 4GB not 2GB.

  • @KhAN95240 I actually did my research thank you very much! I was speaking THEORETICALLY. By the definition of 64-bit architecture, it CAN support 16.3 billion GB of RAM. You are right that 64-bit windows can't achieve that much of RAM, but that's due to other limitations! You are right that 32-bit Windows CAN achieve 4 GB RAM, but by default, Windows Vista and 7 limits it to 2GB, and XP limits it to 3 GB. You can tweak it, but that's not the job of an average user.

  • @Nazmus1992 not tru you can have up to 4 gig per app you can have more than 4 gig of ram on 32 bit you need dig online for some dll file from windows server 2003 and copy thim to system 32 folder

  • @ToadtheWetSprocket Your point is valid. 32-bit OS can achieve 4 GB ram, but know that not all users are conformable with tweaking the system that way. Also, Windows 7 is a worthwhile upgrade because it is stable; what, then, would be the point if we tweak it and make it unstable, especially if we have an option to use a 64 bit of Windows at no additional cost that would run more efficiently on a 4GB RAM anyways.

  • @Nazmus1992 the point well game run better in xp 32 than windows 7 64 bit i found

as app or lock out of useing more than 4 gig so it block thim from over useing ram wich i found that fire fox will keep eating up ram so with a 4 gig lock game run better it the hole ustream stuff why i do not like it for gameing windows 7 fine but it bad if you stream youre games as fire fox and webcam max eat a lot of ram

  • @Nazmus1992 although I agree with you,I have seen some companies charge a miniscule amount more for a 64 bit os than a 32 bit one ,though it is only around 1£,1$ or 1 euro more

  • So if I want to play games etc, it doesn't really matter if I get Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate? Therefore its better to get Home Premium because of it's price.

  • It wouldn't stay up; so I had to hold it up.

    wat?

  • i have the ultimate and its GREAT

  • so what if you get it for free should you change from home to ultimate ?? plz reply

  • I don't know what you mean by getting it free. Did you get it as a gift, win it as a prise, or been given Windows from Microsoft themselves. If you got it illegally, I cannot help you there. But, if both Ultimate and Home Premium are free, you should obviously choose Ultimate. If Home is free, and ultimate is not, you have to decide if you really need the enterprise features (only good for business) found in Ultimate. Hope this helps.
