One of the best Sci-fi shows i ever seen, i was very sad when i noticed that they won't make the season 3. I hope they will change their decision because is such a good story :(

The season 2 finale of SCC was one of the best that any show could have boasted of! I mean why do they cancel the best shows? the music, the story..everything was good and even ep 16 of season 2 was very good once you understood it at the end ( I guess many didn'teven then!)
I mean come on charmed was not brilliant during season 5, but still went on for three more seasons. SCC deserved a season 3 and more!
If anyone wants to see how things could have panned out for John, Cameron, and everyone else...google "the connor wars fanfic". the guy that wrote it did extremely well following everything in the show and his story arc has satisfied many people form fox screwing the tv show.
The way season 2 ended with this song playing made you want to see what happens next. john connor never became that leader, derek doesnt know who he is. John finally met face to face with Kyle, and he saw Cameron as a human before she was killed. :'( Please make a season 3.

This series is probably the one of the best TV series I have or ever will see.
I think this music plays a big part in giving it real emotion that you never really see much on TV anymore. The best part for me was Summer Glau's role as Cameron.
They really should make a movie/season 3 (with a big budget) to tie it all up.

Haha, take a look at the Spongebob episode "Club Spongebob". The whole episode is dancing around the "God/destiny vs. reason" argument. Plus it's hilarious.
@Ech3lon88 Dude, Spongebob is a funny, harmless show that actually has some pretty deep themes :D But other than that, I do get your point. Let's just insert Jersey Shore as the example.

The pieces from 0:55 to 1:30 and 2:16 to 2:49 are the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. Not that the whole song isn't awesome, but those parts ALWAYS hits me right in the gut. Those ~34 second themes just fit the tone of this show so perfectly, its incredible.
@Mikel604 That would be so awesome. Fox wasn't bright enough to figure out how to use this show, just like they stupidly fumbled Firefly, but a cable network who knows what the hell its doing could absolutely restart TSCS as a flagship show to build a network.

It broke my heart the series stopped at season 2, look, if you guys really had gave it a try you will know what you've shutdown here, a quiet decent peice of collection that expands the story, giving us more taste from this classic world for cyborgs, this really could have been a larger work of fantasy for us fans. I've ignored the whole series for a year and when I finally picked it up, it's pretty dead, if you liked it, you would come back to rewatch it and feel pity for how shortly it lived.
broken-hearted, i stopped with television entirely after this show got the axe. those fools at Fox KILLED a love affair that had been ongoing since the mid-60's. thank you Fox.
This is the first I've heard of TSCC being cancelled and all I can say is "WHAT THE HELL", the Terminator franchise is brilliant, it made me laugh, cry, and think. If a show keeps leaving you with a question or with a sense of disbelief or leads to you thinking and considering idea's that you never thought of before, it should be protected by a government.
I don't know what goverment you're talking about but the way I see it they tend to do the opposite; the less you think, and the more you consume the better.

@Bondfanxever Exactly I mean no offence to Buffy/ Charmed- shows I did watch and some episodes i did enjoy, but how could they have gone beyond 6 seasons while shows like wb's V, Dark Angel, Roswell and Firefly which had much better storylines/ acting were cancelled. How can they cancel such a great show with many loyal fans, and keep those other cheesy shows that use the same damn concepts we've seen before up on the air? So what if not many people were watching? There was a time when Battlestar Galactica had low ratings, but it got more interesting for the viewers giving it a chance and it STILL made it to the end. FOX, you have made one of the worst EPIC FAILs your tv division has seen by canceling Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Man, this song is awesome, and so is this show (or was... damn, I wish it were still alive and running). I happened to watch an episode by accident, and the next day I bought the entire second season (then, the first one too).
Is it useless to remain hoping there will be a 3rd season? The movies since T2 are going nowhere, this was going somewhere, and they put it down like a sick dog.
I could guess. Advertisements that show between breaks, and the brands we sometimes see on the show. Maybe big networks do deals with cable companies as well.
@TheClaireElise. I feel your pain. i just got Done watching the two seasons on Netflix to and i am Hoping season 3 comes out. If not there will be alot of Pissed off Fans Out there. But Buying TSCC Seasons 1 and 2 will show that there are Fans out there that want a Season 3 and even a Season 4.
Continuing on from my first comment. They went down after the writer's strike. Originally Season 1 was supposed to have way more episodes. The writer's strike cut that short to 9(wtf kind of show does 9 episodes a season?!?) and that mediocre writing Season 2 suffered.
Can someone please tell me what the notes of the main melody are? This has been bugging me FOREVER. If you just tell me the name of the notes (C, C#, whatever) I can figure out the pattern.
My ear sucks and I can't figure it out myself and I can't read sheet music so even if you have that, it won't help me any.
I just watched both seasons on Blu-Ray and I realized just how good that show really was. Such a crying shame people just stop watching a show. I cant understand how someone can watch a show for 2, 3, or 4 seasons and just stop! That's why Heroes has been canceled too. I dont get it.
Yeah, you're right, because a succesful show needs a core audience that comes back week after week. In the case of Heroes, though, (bear in mind I haven't watched the show myself) it was a rather different case than with TSCC because according to critics there was a decline in quality after strong season 1. Therefore it's not as puzzling why it got the axe eventually. However, with TSCC, there was no such noticeable decline in quality so it's truly a mystery why it was cancelled.
The problem with critics is that they hate everything! I learned along time ago not to pay much attention to those boneheads. As for Heroes, I think you would really enjoy the show and then you would be hungry for closure via a 5th and final season! Granted, the first season started out with a bang, but that didn't mean the rest of the show was by any means less than. Shows evolve. Mabey we have short attention spans! Mabey.
To everyone. Season 1 of TSCC was fine. Being into computers, I was into it, couldn't really get anyone around me though. But still, it got me into Terminator.
Season 2... Now Season 2. They started going down from there. Emo-John coupled with extremely questionable special effects and loop holes. Umm, yea. By the time they tried to recover, which was like last 5 episodes of a hopelessly down and messed up story, it was very unlikely it would be renewed.
Not only that, but Dollhouse, which was renewed instead, had even lower ratings than TSCC. FOX was producing Dollhouse so that was no doubt a factor for that decision.
It's all about the money way too often, which is a shame.
@THEBIGZED They didn't own the rights to Terminator. They were just leased to them so they could hype up Salvation. FOX did not want to pay for something wasn't bringing in good ratings. So since they owned Dollhouse they went with that. The only way Terminator can come back is if someone else like SyFy steps up and takes it. There hasn't been a DVD package for TSCC the complete series so I'm sure the chance is still there and they are still thinking about it.
@JoaoAlv3s Dont bother. Heroes was a better show! Heroes started out with a bang, i'll give you that but im the kind of person who is willing to watch a show in it's entirety to see how it turns out. A show has to evolve. You cant copy the 1st season over and over again. You would hate that too! Universal could've put together a 2 or 3 hour movie to wrap things up. It seems like people dont much care for sci-fi on television. Other than SG-1!...

tscc ended at the last episode of ses 2 but they are workin on a john connor chronicle when he travelet to the future its going on there after john connor chronicle and youve seen them all watch salvation then you got the whole story till so far :P

Really, the only thing I liked was their portrayal of the future. It matched up to James Cameron's grim and dark 2029 visually. I really want to see more of the SCC future.
@xyhmo Thomas Dekker spilled what season would have been like and dude what would have happen was pure genius. Fox Canceling this and keeping dollhouse was a mistake. Now Dollhouse a show that sucked was canceled and so is this. If they wanted this show to do good they would have never put it in the Friday night death slot cause it's obvious you'd want to cancel it by putting it there.

It was good the show ended, 'cause Friedman in his rampant desire to transplant his own battle with kidney cancer into the story effectively wrote Cameron out of it, ignoring that people watched the show because of her and John and because of the temporal war, and not because of Sarah. Any 3rd Season based on the cliffhanger would've sucked ass, big time.
well there had better be more of this show or i am gonna have to hurt somebody. that's all i gotta say. except for this: such a sad song deserves some more heart wrenching episodes.
Thomsas dekker said there would have been a love traingle between John, allison young, and Savannah weaver who in the future would have been grown to be a resistance fighter. And that danny dyson might not have grown up to be a good person. So I guess the third season would have been completely in the future war and trying to get back to 2009. Sounded like a great season.

There has been talk about the return of TSCC as a direct-to-DVD movie, so we have to keep showing support for the show.

I haven't watched FOX since this show was canceled. The fact that it was canceled only proves that their quality is non-existent.
If this show had been supported by Sci-Fi Channel, it would have had it's run.

It broke my heart the series stopped at season 2, look, if you guys really had gave it a try you will know what you've shutdown here, a quiet decent peice of collection that expands the story, giving us more taste from this classic world for cyborgs, this really could have been a larger work of fantasy for us fans. I've ignored the whole series for a year and when I finally picked it up, it's pretty dead, if you liked it, you would come back to rewatch it and feel pity for how shortly it lived.

This is the first I've heard of TSCC being cancelled and all I can say is "WHAT THE HELL", the Terminator franchise is brilliant, it made me laugh, cry, and think. If a show keeps leaving you with a question or with a sense of disbelief or leads to you thinking and considering idea's that you never thought of before, it should be protected by a government.

@Bondfanxever Exactly I mean no offence to Buffy/ Charmed- shows I did watch and some episodes i did enjoy, but how could they have gone beyond 6 seasons while shows like wb's V, Dark Angel, Roswell and Firefly which had much better storylines/ acting were cancelled. Firefly will always remain a great loss. Summer Glau must be one of the most underrated actresses ever ;(

How can they cancel such a great show with many loyal fans, and keep those other cheesy shows that use the same damn concepts we've seen before up on the air? So what if not many people were watching? There was a time when Battlestar Galactica had low ratings, but it got more interesting for the viewers giving it a chance and it STILL made it to the end. FOX, you have made one of the worst EPIC FAILs your tv division has seen by canceling Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Man, this song is awesome, and so is this show (or was... damn, I wish it were still alive and running). I happened to watch an episode by accident, and the next day I bought the entire second season (then, the first one too).
Is it useless to remain hoping there will be a 3rd season? The movies since T2 are going nowhere, this was going somewhere, and they put it down like a sick dog.

Continuing on from my first comment. They went down after the writer's strike. Originally Season 1 was supposed to have way more episodes. The writer's strike cut that short to 9(wtf kind of show does 9 episodes a season?!?) and that mediocre writing Season 2 suffered.

Can someone please tell me what the notes of the main melody are? This has been bugging me FOREVER. If you just tell me the name of the notes (C, C#, whatever) I can figure out the pattern.
My ear sucks and I can't figure it out myself and I can't read sheet music so even if you have that, it won't help me any.

I just watched both seasons on Blu-Ray and I realized just how good that show really was. Such a crying shame people just stop watching a show. I cant understand how someone can watch a show for 2, 3, or 4 seasons and just stop! That's why Heroes has been canceled too. I dont get it.

Yeah, you're right, because a succesful show needs a core audience that comes back week after week. In the case of Heroes, though, (bear in mind I haven't watched the show myself) it was a rather different case than with TSCC because according to critics there was a decline in quality after strong season 1. Therefore it's not as puzzling why it got the axe eventually. However, with TSCC, there was no such noticeable decline in quality so it's truly a mystery why it was cancelled.

The problem with critics is that they hate everything! I learned along time ago not to pay much attention to those boneheads. As for Heroes, I think you would really enjoy the show and then you would be hungry for closure via a 5th and final season! Granted, the first season started out with a bang, but that didn't mean the rest of the show was by any means less than. Shows evolve. Mabey we have short attention spans! Mabey.

To everyone. Season 1 of TSCC was fine. Being into computers, I was into it, couldn't really get anyone around me though. But still, it got me into Terminator.
Season 2... Now Season 2. They started going down from there. Emo-John coupled with extremely questionable special effects and loop holes. Umm, yea. By the time they tried to recover, which was like last 5 episodes of a hopelessly down and messed up story, it was very unlikely it would be renewed.

Not only that, but Dollhouse, which was renewed instead, had even lower ratings than TSCC. FOX was producing Dollhouse so that was no doubt a factor for that decision.
It's all about the money way too often, which is a shame.

@THEBIGZED They didn't own the rights to Terminator. They were just leased to them so they could hype up Salvation. FOX did not want to pay for something wasn't bringing in good ratings. So since they owned Dollhouse they went with that. The only way Terminator can come back is if someone else like SyFy steps up and takes it. There hasn't been a DVD package for TSCC the complete series so I'm sure the chance is still there and they are still thinking about it.

@JoaoAlv3s Dont bother. Heroes was a better show! Heroes started out with a bang, i'll give you that but im the kind of person who is willing to watch a show in it's entirety to see how it turns out. A show has to evolve. You cant copy the 1st season over and over again. You would hate that too! Universal could've put together a 2 or 3 hour movie to wrap things up. It seems like people dont much care for sci-fi on television. Other than SG-1!...

tscc ended at the last episode of ses 2 but they are workin on a john connor chronicle when he travelet to the future its going on there after john connor chronicle and youve seen them all watch salvation then you got the whole story till so far :P

Really, the only thing I liked was their portrayal of the future. It matched up to James Cameron's grim and dark 2029 visually. I really want to see more of the SCC future.

@xyhmo Thomas Dekker spilled what season would have been like and dude what would have happen was pure genius. Fox Canceling this and keeping dollhouse was a mistake. Now Dollhouse a show that sucked was canceled and so is this. If they wanted this show to do good they would have never put it in the Friday night death slot cause it's obvious you'd want to cancel it by putting it there.

It was good the show ended, 'cause Friedman in his rampant desire to transplant his own battle with kidney cancer into the story effectively wrote Cameron out of it, ignoring that people watched the show because of her and John and because of the temporal war, and not because of Sarah. Any 3rd Season based on the cliffhanger would've sucked ass, big time.

Thomsas dekker said there would have been a love traingle between John, allison young, and Savannah weaver who in the future would have been grown to be a resistance fighter. And that danny dyson might not have grown up to be a good person. So I guess the third season would have been completely in the future war and trying to get back to 2009. Sounded like a great season.

TSCC has been cancelled, but we cant give up yet. Go to: savethescc [dot] com and see what you can do to help bring it back.
There has been talk about the return of TSCC as a direct-to-DVD movie, so we have to keep showing support for the show.
Please do not hesitate to take part in the Global Resistance Rallies, keep sending emails to Fox, WB and Syfy. Make sure you buy season 1 and 2 on DVD or Blu-Ray. The better the sales, the better the chances of TSCCs return.
