  • yes so long sought. thank you for this song.

    sorry for my google english.

  • I've just read your lyrics to this beautiful song....could I suggest that 'bark' should be 'birk' ...as in 'birch' ? It's a small point but, I think, a reasonably important one. Many thanks for uploading this...I've been listening to it for months now. Many thanks.

  • @heehawluck1

thanks so very much for bringing this to my attention! I copied the lyrics from another website and didnt noticed the typo

  • I am loooking for the song : »AA Cameron’s Strathsprey ... The new shillin’” from the album “so many partings”

  • Love it and pretty much all of the deeply missed Silly Wizard and Johnny Cunningham.

Martine: it is a great album!

  • Love it and pretty much all of the deeply missed Silly Wizard and Johnny Cunningham.

  • Poetically epic... a song that bridges time... and millennia.

  • Thank you for posting the lyrics as well!! Have been searching it for a long time...

  • My fav Silly Wizard album. Tha Mi Sgith gives me goose bumps: It goes right to your soul. Andy M. Stewart's voice gives so much texture to the words. You can just hear the wind over the loch and feel Time shaping the mountains and glens... Beautiful...

And from one of the best and most well-known Celtic bands, one of my favourites. Thanks!

  • thanks so much for posting this...from one of my drop dead fav recordings of all time...this air is the beginning of a long set of tunes...as Dantes suggests...it builds and builds and builds to a crashing conclusion...a great piece...if you haven't heard it, get a copy of Wild & Beautiful...I was lucky enough to hear Sily Wizard do this live...what a treat
