I didn't know that the Ice Key had something to do with Donkey Kong 64. Now its killing me knowing that there might be something cool behind that barrier in that crystal cave part in DD64 that might of been able to be unlocked by the ice key.

Well if you bought banjo tooie for xbla, you will find a little something called "Stop & Swop II" this is undeniable proof that rare is intending to reinstate their original plan for stop & Swop in the next installment of the Banjo-kazooie series.

Well I could have told you that the SnS in the B-K 360 port was a gimmicky fake, I mean you said yourself the original had to do with Donkey Kong 64 and Tooie's 360 port was months off. Shame though, but I'd imagine the SnS eggs were just random codes that acted as keys to unlock the SnS items actually in Tooie-including devil bottle's mode and all the non-hacked SnS stuff you got in-game-and that all we don't know about is the beta..ier SnS involving DK 64.

I actually think that stop and swap was the crucial point within all of the BK games(obviously for the developers) and i think that every single 'issue' was planned out so people would have to spend more and more money. If youve actually played N&B throughout the game there are marketing schemes every where, like when mumbo says "If game sells well, maybe mumbo make garage extension" or how they constantly qoute other 'Rare' games.

Though it was, for sure, used as a marketing tool, and just to be mean to the fans (i.e. The things in banjo pilot and nuts and bolts that you buy that are supposed to tell you about stop n swop. It had an original purpose, most likely, the stuff you unlock through the Faux stop n swop in tooie, as well as bottle's revenge.
