Just saw "All That is Solid Melts Into Air" at the Sundance Film Festival. It is an astonishing piece - one of the most powerful I have seen in its originality and vision.
I saw the installation at the (brilliant) 2008 Biennale of Sydney on Cockatoo Island. I agree with the above commenter - an excellent piece of work, one of the ones that really stayed with me (from a very strong exhibition overall), and which I periodically contemplate to this day: true art!
I saw this installation this summer in amsterdam, and I was moved!
the juxtaposition of the two films was so powerful. it made me more aware of the situation on a human level. I applaud the artist for highlighting the chaos and imbalance that exists when corporations exploit indigenous populations, and the injustice this produces.

Is there any way to get in touch with the artist? The piece sounds phenomenal and I'm wanting to reference it in my thesis.
