@drum: You don't need a great voice to make great music, it sucks sheets is gone his horn parts really brought a cool element to their music and he was a good guy that was around a really long time. Him leaving may be for the best, idk, but I don't think sheet's voice was ever a negative or a concern.

also check out rx bandit's record label 'sargent house' on myspace for more similar-to-rxb bands :P (this town needs guns is a good one to check out)

Isn't it such a shame that people tend to notice only the negative aspects of things? "off key" or "chromatic" or whatever it is, that is so trivial. it sounds beautiful, yeah there are mistakes, but that is part of what makes it so beautiful. I'm so glad the Rx Bandits are not an airbrushed, manufactured band who exploit art for profit. Also, amazing song, amazing musicians...there should be more bands like Rx Bandits, peace.

Off key notes? So? it's called chromaticism. It's a prominent feature of modern music because it can be used to so easily create tension and add flavours which serve to break up the constant drone of diatonic music.
