Acoustic Guitar Review - Martin D-21 Special

Beautiful tone and playing.

However, that's not a pyramid bridge as shown. A pyramid bridge has very low pyramid shapes on both ends of the bridge. I played one of those and it was beautiful.

@edrhoades1 That is a pyramid bridge. The lighting is bad so its hard to see but if you pause at around :46 sec you can see the pyramid shapes. The lighting in the straight on shot at :50 makes it hard to see. At the :56-:57 mark with better overhead lighting you can see the top triangle of the pyramid on the bass side of the bridge.

I played one of these guitars at CA House music store. This a very nice guitar. One of the best on the market. It has a great sound and a easy fast action.

Spent an hour in a big acoustic room playing all of the Martins and Taylors, and this was THE best sounding guitar of them all. Fantastic instrument.

I've got a Martin OM 21 Special, had it about a year and a half. I'm as in love with it now (more, actually) than the day I bought it. It's my 15th guitar, and It's the nicest one I have personally owned or played. Martin are the best, lolo

I play a HD28. Martin can not be beat for quality and sound. You can spend more money but you will not have a better guitar than a Martin.

That sound is unbelievable, in the perfectly wholesome meaning of the word.

After hearing that sound i'm more then a little convinced that i want my next acoustic to be a Martin. I'm definetly gonna save up for 000-size, for around $700, i've got my eye on one. =D
