A good portion of police are corrupt. A know a guy who went through academy and they told him that you can stop anyone for anything and you can always make something up or find something wrong to arrest them or fine them. That's training and practice, if you aren't guilty they'll make it up.
Trust me. Only 5% of cops are like that. They make life harder for citizens and good officers. I was fired for excesive use of force because people see clips like this and think ALL cops are A-holes and guilty of beating people up.

Back in the 70s in NY, lots of cops in my community were abusive and were engaged in other type of crimes. They had a deal with gangs- any money gang members made with drug selling, those cops would get a percent of it if no arrests were made. It was very common, and the police Dept. didn't care. If a citizen claims to a member of law enforcement she was pushed by some man, be rest assured that citizen will be arrested, especially if there was clear-cut evidence such as this. @wreckalot I believe there are good cops out there, BUT to say 5% are like the idiots on this video is ridiculous. Back in the 70s in NY, lots of cops in my community were abusive and were engaged in other type of crimes. They had a deal with gangs- any money gang members made with drug selling, those cops would get a percent of it if no arrests were made. It was very common, and the police Dept. didn't care. It's worse now. They give the good cops a bad name, and that's ashame.

I worked on a force with 200 officers and I can only think of maybe 3 of them that would have pushed that poor lady down. Please spend a few years in a peace officers unifom and then tell me how you feel.

A friend of the family was with the NYPD for 3 years and left because of corruption. He couldn't stand it any more and became a NY firefighter and he loves his job. You don't know how it is living in these streets and actually seeing police corruption right before your eyes. Almost everyone in the neighborhood have seen it. This is clearly an assault. If a citizen claims to a member of law enforcement she was pushed by some man, be rest assured that citizen will be arrested, especially if there was clear-cut evidence such as this. Yet, law enforcement gets to hide behind policy, and procedure. This needs to end. This is partly why citizens are coming so angry with law enforcement. They wonder why we hate them. Assaults on law enforcement are at an all time high, I wonder why. Citizens are done taking their shit.

So, a list of lies, just from a single viewing:
1. It's not "cops", it's "a cop".
2. He's not "pushing her to the ground", he seems to have barely touched her.
3. There's no way she had enough time to "tell them 3 times she had a disability". I doubt she said anything at all.
4. They don't "then walk"; they stop and speak to her, and move after seeing she's ok and that someone else is taking care of her.
On the other hand, the logo at the end perfectly describes the coverage.
