To feed them propperly so that they can go to the slaughter house nice and fat. it is sad but true. people need to make money to survive and ostrich's provide meat, leather, feather dusters and so on. the only thing they are good for alive to us human are for ostrage racing, breeding and theyre egg's.
Why are you keeping the baby's from the mothers?

@melindaFive I do not think they want to separate the chicks from their parents. They are just in a different part of the yard.
