I remember this whole thing like it was yesterday. Everything on military related forums and on the TV was centered on this conflict. One thread got 150 replies in one day alone. In any case I think the 2006 war in Lebanon proved two things

1. The IDF is a good military, but not all it is cut out to be.

2. Hezbollah is WAY more effective as a military institution than most of us ever dreamed.
