Thanks 4 da upload. Charismatic guy. But even as a confirmed Catholic, what business does the Church have over people's PERSONAL lives or public views on such? Isn't the only thing they have authority over is the SPIRITUAL and RELIGIOUS part of our lives. Then why butt into such a person lives. If people want to have a sex life, its no ones concern, decision or responsibility and consequence except their own. It seems SO wrong to me that they believe they own us like slaves.

Through abstinence ONLY, it helps to psychologically recruit and condition more and more people into unconditional obedience. Whenever they say that we belong to "God" it REALLY means the Vatican wants run us like slaves and are infantilizing and emasculating us in order to forcibly rule us under the imagined threat of damnation. Instead: Abstinence plus for teens but only until they’re independent adults.

@EhJayJC Wrong! I am living proof that the Christian Ideal has been tried and caused guilt, fear, and internal turmoil that was only relieved when throwing off the shackles of Catholic Oppression, repression, surpression.
@GFMarshallx1 How does the Vatican benefit from rule over Catholics? What use are the "slaves" you talk about? Why would the Vatican try to control people? Just some honest questions, I'd like to hear what you have to say because I'm not sure upon what you are basing your arguments.
@Eveningwake Politically my friend. The more Catholics, the more civil leaders will have to listen to them. The more the ecclesiastical powers can influence civil law through this. A slippery slope to domination of hearts and minds. You thought Orwell's Thoughtcrime was bad. Try that AND soul crime and eternal punishment as a threat against disobedience

A terrible form of government but the best we've got so far :/ And that statement is a slippery slope in itself; Catholics don't have all that political power domination (And I won't say that it's corporations and capitalists who do; that's another slippery slope assumption resulting from a lack of a full understanding of basic economics)

There are actually many secular, non-religiously funded studies that prove many of the physical, psychological, and emotional benefits of abstinence as well as the use of natural family planning verses chemical birth control. What one does or doesn't do is their own choice, however, I believe it is the social responsibility of everyone to present real and unmitigated information from both sides so people can make the right choices.
@KellyTawni Also, Jason Evert and Crystalina Padilla (now Evert) give lectures and host discussions about abstinence in many secular forums; never addressing God or the Catholic church. They also have published secular books on purity and have both Catholic based and secular based websites regarding abstinence.
@KellyTawni You misunderstand my the view. What you are saying in this particular reply is something I TOTALLY AGREE on. Unmitigated, UNBIASED pure information is the ultimate goal. Hence Abstienence PLUS, not ONLY. Abstienence for teens should absolutely be the number 1 aim and goal. But you fail to realize the insidious agenda behind Jason Evert. If you dig deeper and talk to him directly as I have, he wants to condition us via repression and guilt for the Vatican to strips us off our freedom.

The reason behind this couple's message is really just an answer to the chaos in human sexuality you found in the world today; I mean, our countries have like 50% divorce rates, I think it's fail to say we don't have human sexual relationships figured out anymore. :P Theology of the body is offering a solution to it, take it or leave it really. :P
Okay, I'll admit you're probably right. It's not that I don't agree with most of the message here, I guess I just don't like the way they express their opinions. Sometimes people just provoke a certain reaction from me, you know? But I'm sorry, because I was rude.
