It's an old complaint: nothing like the book. She certainly didn't end up with the dragon in the book - she defeated it, dumped Ronald and didn't need to end up with anyone, that was the whole point!

And what's with adding in the other fairy tales?? Talk about padding.

@queenastilon Why do you think she's with the dragon? Cause they're all friendly now? And yeah, the book had it's own message and it's a valid one, but one thing about it anways bugged me: sure, she doesn't need a man, but why close off the possibility? This ending doesn't have her end up with anyone, but it doesn't close that possibility.

As for the other fairytales, it'd be too short otherwise? If they didn't, then there'd probably be more singing, which this shirt did NOT need more of.

As a librarian I read box loads of stories to my children. One favorite of my daughters was The Paper Bag Princess. When she was in grade two I helped her prepare a play to preform for her classmates with a few of her friends. It was fabulous and I have managed to save pictures. I believe she's modeled her relationship attitude after Princess Elizabeth... hahaha she really has. Thank you Robert Munsch!
