the point is that technology is always progressing and it will take away some of the classic ambiance you enjoy about a show or film. But as much as we draw from the old we evolve old into new. cgi included. Just dnt disrespect the old because in essence u sound like fool . Like ur disrespecting ur grandfather or something.

2incrediblehulkmovies, I remember the original as well AND would you not agree that THIS was cutting edge @ the time.?Even more believable because of the live action effects. Superman. too. I would like 2 c sumone duplicate that fight scence in manhattan Between S-man and The 3 villians. W/out using cgi.

@itsoverforuman I can only say that considering how popular the incredible hulk sweries was that the most recent films have been an absolute failuire. CGI and special effects do not make for an effective story, too many people nowadays confuse them...Believing that CGI = Storyline!! when they clearly do not, hence the failure to regenerate and modernise great TV shows of past as they had no CGI to rely on, only actors and the special effects dept...but we are definitely better off now.....NOT

@incrediblehulkmovies I totally agree last 2 movies were woefully awful, I totally agree family guy's intro captured the essence of the original series and made happy memories for me....the films did nothing for me nothing at all, such a shame :(

@mitziebitzie Thank you. It's like the creators of the movies thought it would be too cheesey to make the movies even remotely like the old tv show so they had to spin it off and make it their own for "todays" audiences. Go Figure!

@ChaoticDarkShadow Do you mean the superb CGI acting was good? because edward Norton wasn't actually that big green monster you saw on the screen it was a computer image not a real actor! The computer did all the acting! so I suppose it was actually algorithyms and a bit of RAM that did all that fine acting.

You maybe confusing acting with special effects a lot of people do thast now a days. Both movie remakes were a total letdown.

@jefframey91 I absolutely agree no doubt, people these days just don't get the fact that TV shows back then had very limited budgets and no CGI, hence these shows will look outdated but storyline was far better than these CGI remakes today were the emphasis is on fooling the audience to belive special effect = a storyline!

It works look at the audiences for films like Transfomers, the Actors are mediocre at best and storyline crap but Special Effects and CGI are great quality...

I started following special effects progress strongly after Jurrassic park, studied it alot out of my own interest have liked it all my life from the new to the old like you said people dont get it.

the tv series was more complex than that if youve watched them it wasn't just anger that caused him to change into the hulk that was clear in the pilot episodes if listened to dr. banner and dr. elana marx talking.

@ChaoticDarkShadow Edward Norton sucked as Bruce Banner. If you knew anything, you'd know that Bill Bixby is a hard act to follow. Also, the CGI hulks were awful. Terrible movies all around.
