Dude I have the Ux2 and i tried this preset on my guitar ( schecter hellraiser c-1), and it sounds bad, so i presume that the "magic trick" of this tone is in the mixing . What do you think about making a tuturial about mixing and mastering ? :)

@HeavyGuitarMachine its also in the pickups. if you have a guitar with cheaper pickups (duncan designed, etc) you'll wanna swap those out for some decent ones, or ones that fit your style of playing.

Just copied your settings on by UX2 and I must admit, this tone sounds freakin awesome. I wouldn't know where to start with all the equalisers etc. so that was a great help. Cheers!

So what are you using for your speakers? I have mine in some small(ish) speakers and it sounds nothin like this! I can hear it but even my 5 watt amp sounds better! You think it's the speakers?

Do I get the full version of the software that comes with POD UX2 or are they only trial versions ? Thx man and sorry for bothering you, "again" I just wanna know the POD better :D

@varigleridante696 hey no problem man!!!:P well all the program except for POD Farm ar all light version!! so i recomand u to not install them!! there not worth the place in ur hard drive + there not realy good and usefull so go get Reaper! its only 60$ and its probably one of the best DAW u can get specialy for the price!! also note that POD farm is full but dont include Addional pack like the metal shop and some others!!

I have two questions, whats the difference between Line 6 Pod Studio UX2 and Toneport UX2 and what stuff do I need to run pod studio ux2 like butter. I mean I have decent studio speakers/headphones. jack's, strong pc, guitar, 30 W amp, and what is bothering me the most a shit sound card that I'll need to replace, please help man idk how that thing works :(

@varigleridante696 hey!! the diff is pretty simple the pod ux 2 is newer... then the toneport ux 2 i think u wont find any toneport in stores now... and with the pod ux2 u can run pod farm 2 on stand alone and VST so yeah go with the pod ux 2! and also ur computers fine to record!!

The line 6 ux 2 runs as a sound card. so you don't need to replace your current one.

How did you get so much distortion without a fuzzy sound? im using the UX2 with an ESP with EMG HZ pickups and i cant play metal/palm muted stuff without a fuzzy sound coming through :( plz heelllpppp

@iluvpigeons hey pretty easy put the gain to the amp sim ur using at something btween 50% to 60% max and then use the overdrive and put the drive knob all the way down the and the tone knob to your liking!! it will give you a tighter sound! and palm muthing!! dont forget to put a noise get also!

@22bryant fake...?? dude sorry but u probably dont know what ur talking about... yess pod farm is not the best amp sim!! but it dosent mean u cant get a good sound out of it!! do u know about mixing?? and mastering?? it makes a huge diff in the overall sound!! sure if u just take a tone and just record without doing a good mix and mastering it will sound like shit!! but if u know how make good proscessing with each of ur tracks then ul achieve something good;) so there is no fake thing here!!;)

@GabRock91 I think hes (22bryant) is trying to get a good tone for just playing. Which is fairly hard with a pod. Sure you can make it sound good for recording. But for just practicing. I find it hard to get anything good with my pod ux2. :P Thats why I Just stick with my mesa dual rec and blast it. I also lock my bedroom door so no one can do anything about it ;)

@BreeBree1731 hey thx for the comments!! and it might sound different!! cuz first cuz of your guitar and your pickups!! and too i did some proscessing with the 4 tracks of the guitars!! wich mean some extra EQ and compressing... pluse bass and all!! u have to mix all your instrument and try to make them sound all together and youl see a huge difference!! aneway the tone is already cool so its a good start!! if u have some kestion feel free to ask!

@ihavetourettesxx Hey for the ez drummer if u wanna a trick you have to EQ the bass drum...and put a compressor on the sanre and the basse drum!! and for the tone welll do u have good pickups?? cuz it does make a difference for like 70% to the tone!! but wtv thk you for the comment!!
