  • Hi, because you brake your wrist to soon into your backswing you do not get a full shoulder turn you just come up a little short . Watch on slow mo and you will see you could get a little more . Hope that helps.

  • was that on the princeville golf crouse?

  • Your left shoulder goes up because you straighten your right knee when you complete your back swing

  • You seem to have a tendency to really raise your left shoulder up near the top of your backswing.

As for the point of the video, it's spot on. The more relaxed and tension free you are, the better than club will move, and the more clubhead speed you will generate. It's vitially important. I would say, top 3 most important fundamentals of the swing.

    Good luck!

  • Agree. Trying to improve the move and stay "down" or centered. I need to feel that I get lower as the backswing happens. Any suggestions?

  • What i possibly see is that your swing is a little upright. could you post a side view? I also noticed your head moving towards the target a little quickly. I would like to see the head a little more still. Watch some videos of the pros and see how their head doesn't turn to follow the shot until after the ball is hit.

You have nice lower body movement and leg work. Lots of good things about your swing.

    good luck-

  • @insticnt2 annika and david duval? the peekaboo head turn just helps the body turn. as long as it's not jerking the body all over the place, it's fine. the ground and ball won't move, just swing.

  • finished watching the rest of the video.. yeah your swing plane does need to be flatter and on plane.

  • @KiloKaiGolf Swing looked good to me.

  • What's with the lift of the torso at the very top of the swing? Face is too closed on takeaway. Everything else looks great.

  • Thats a good idea, when you take it back at a slower pace it allows you to set that angle. BUT, make sure u maintain that angle you on the downswing as well, you kind of lose the angle a bit.

  • Yep I agree. Beautifully smooth takeaway;)
