yeah, high carbons one of the strongest, metals/alloys about, thats why ist used for drill bits hacksaw blades etc. the only problem with both that and mild (and indeed any steel with the exception of stainless) is they contain Iron making them corrode, but your's should be allright due to the paint you put on
yeah metal works a bitch, and yes the bigger hacksaw blade is "high carbon steel" the smaller one is just mild steel, we did all that crap in skool last year
