I make 675 to the wheel on my Mustang but it takes 20 psi, but I still run pump gas because of low timing.

@Mustangsaregirlcars driving fast in a straight line is actually very fun, many others will agree too, its also fun when theres a car next to you that you are racing. there are many cars out there that suck at turns, but for ford, theyre not stupid, they have mustangs built for the track. for example, the 2000 mustang svt cobra r, but driving in straight line does require skill, with some power those tires will spin when you step on it, the skill is keeping it from spinning out

It's a badass mustang but if it started out ad a 99 GT then it is a mock saleen. Anyone can buy the body kit and stripe package to put it on their car. U gotta give the guy driving some credit tho' 900 to the ground is a lot to keep going straight for a street legal car.

@steph3n1 *you're. Also get your shit straight. Drag radials are pretty much street tires- that can be used at the strip. I think you're referring to "slicks." Also im not sure what size slicks you think he could fit inside a stock wheel well to stick all that power. So hows that for an ignorant fuck?

@Bakerbrds These tires were NOT heated up he just melted them off a launch. Also drag strips are Much stickier than the road. there fore they weren't sticky at all. Im aware you can't fit slicks without a tubbed out rear end. You got a car that can beat this?

you live in a shitty area then, where all the can find is a shitty v6 powered mustang, rice is up with body kits and put straight pipes in, and thats all they do. and if you were smart you would know that power to weight means nothing in high speeds only in acceleration, high speeds is all about aerodynamics, but obviously youre not an american muscle guy. dont even worry about the cobra r youll never race one anyways its a collectors car only 300 were made and its very rare to even see one

@Mustangsaregirlcars wow a 2.4? my bros superchager is as big as that, and you just smacked a turbo in there? how would it survive when racing?, but most ricer owners only go for power since its hard to get them fast, yeah 470 it would wreck in seconds on a track since you have no parts improving its handling, flywheels, suspension, of course tires. if you added stuff like that it would cost you way more than $9000. plus intercoolers, your car was overheat in a minute using all its power

@Mustangsaregirlcars i dont like the 06-2011 mustangs so i dont give a shit what can beat them, im a fan of the 99-04 mustangs/cobras, the best ones in my opinion, my bro only spent less than 30000 on a 04 kenne bell cobra, had it dynoed and had 592 rwhp, what can you get with your sti? with only 30000 including the price of the car. cant just slap a twin turbo in, probably blow the motor since that v6 cant handle the power, takes lots of money to make then fast and usable

@Mustangsaregirlcars yeah thats what most people today do, that and to have fun with other guys with fast cars too, you have probably never been in a car going more than 100 mph, otherwise youd find it fun too, and on real tracks, i think not, the 2000 svt cobra r was able to keep up and pass a porshe carrera gt, and it has 2/3 the hp, the mustang with a little less than 400 and the porshe with more than 600. mustangs are in styles from tracks to drag cars

@Mustangsaregirlcars driving fast in a straight line is actually very fun, many others will agree too, its also fun when theres a car next to you that you are racing. there are many cars out there that suck at turns, but for ford, theyre not stupid, they have mustangs built for the track. for example, the 2000 mustang svt cobra r, but driving in straight line does require skill, with some power those tires will spin when you step on it, the skill is keeping it from spinning out

@Mustangsaregirlcars the only way the rear axle would be a bad thing is if it was used on the track, most fast cars you see on the street today have probably never been raced on a track, only races you see are races on the highway, which is a STRAIGHT LINE, most people dont even buy cars to race on tracks, they just drive for fun, and if they want to race they will either take it to a drag strip or go on the highway.
