Skiltet der det står 18 meter fortel skipsførarar at skipet maksimalt kan vere 18 meter høgt på høgste vatn-nivå for å kunne køyre skipet sikkert under brua.

Så 18 meter er avstanden frå vatnet og opp til undersida av brua på flo sjø.

I tillegg er det ca. 2 meter frå undersida av brua og opp til vegen.

Det var fjøre ("lav-vann") under hoppinga, så det er minst 21 meter opp til der han hoppa frå. :-)

This video is "shot" in the western part of Norway, famous for its high mountains and long, deep fjords. The bridge is located near Ikjefjorden, a sidefjord to the Sognefjord. Take care!

Thank you for your nice comment. This jump in Ikjefjorden took place in midsummer, with OK temperature in the Sognefjord. The boys parents is from Holland, but they have lived in Norway for more than 15 years.
