  • VTEC wannabe

  • No sound, thumbs down.

  • can anyone tell me whats the diff btw BMW's VANOS and VALVETRONIC?

  • @chrisluvjh VANOS adjusts the opening and closing timing of the valve by physically moving the cam. Valvetronic changes the lift of the valve. You have to understand how valve lift and valve timing work for it to fully make sense.

  • so is vanos an updated version?

  • Very interesting.

  • MultiAir.......

  • love how there's no exhaust valve

  • both are good, but not as good as teh fiat "multiair"

  • basicly the same as the older VANOS ...

  • It's the same technology and to be honest I don't see the difference in the two videos except that on this one the springs that return the pusharm are not illustrated and on the second video they are.

  • compare to this video:

    RE5Tx47-b24

    can't u see the difference? :)

    or it's different technology

  • Actually there's nothing wrong. That's the whole point, changing the valve timing and it's done by that "swtich" ot the left hand side of the cam which changes the profile of the push-arm.

  • something is wrong here. check the valves. they stay to long open after the camshaft isn't touching them. i guuess :)
