  • Is your muffler 1 in 1 out??

  • @dieselpro77 its one 2.5" opening into the muffler and one 2.5" opening out of the muffler. so yes 1 in and 1 out

  • Is ur muffler a 1 in 1 out?

  • Check out Flowmasters new Super 10 muffler. Super deep tone, and louder.

  • single or duel? cat or no cat? pipe size? engine size? thanks

  • wow that sounds good. Did the highflow cat make a noticeable difference? I only have the flowmaster on mine right now. Magnaflow cat is going on in 2 days

  • is that loud in your cab?

  • yes but with a soft top and aggressive tires they all kinda drown each other out. ive never been annoyed by it but im sure its not for everyone. ill see if i can find a camera and shoot some in cab video with the top up. my girlfriend says its kinda like white noise and makes her sleepy

  • @recover1227 yeah i have cooper stt tires on mine with the softtop but i dont have a turn down like yours and i've been waiting to buy a tail pipe..i have the thrush welded muffler and its loud in the cab

  • wow sorry for the really really late replies. i havent signed on in a while but i did not install it myself. i have a friend that owns a local shop and he welded it in for me. i also have an airaid air intake and a magnaflow highflow cat with a turn down. the piping from starting at the bend before the cat back is 2.5". hope this helps and if you have any other questions feel free to post

  • That is beast! Im doin that to my jeep

  • is that setup will sound the same for a 97 grand cherokee by cutting the tail pipe and a short turn down pipe right after the muffler?? that is the sound i'm looking for but if you can help me by tell me what to buy to make it possible? thank's in advance.

  • Lets get into details here is it just welded in did you make the exhaust pipe bigger from the cat back? I'm looking for my 05 TJ trying to figure out which way to go. Waste money on a cat back Banks or buy a Flowmaster Super 40 and make the exhaust bigger from the cat back with bigger tailpipe

  • did you install this yourself? ive been looking at the flowmasters and wanted to know how difficult it was to install.

  • I never put a flowmaster on a jeep, but I put one on my dakota and it was pretty easy

  • i dont like the white lettering on the outside. itll just get scuffed to hell and back from wheelin

  • @recover1227 i did the same bro! white in! lol

  • I have a 97 Jeep Wrangler 4.0L with no muffler no cat and rugged ridge headers. Of course it sounds like shit if you compare it to a v8 but for a I-6 it sounds great. Yes its loud, no hp gain or loss that ive noticed, same with mpg, and ive had my exhaust this way for 1 and 1/2 years so far and no mechanical problems. Can get very annoying on longer trips and yes you have to coast near cops. If you want your jeep to be loud and sound as good as it can do this. Just remember its VERY loud.

  • "those engines sound good at high RPM but otherwise, yuck. buy a honda."

I really hope that was supposed to be a joke.

  • Like Honda is any better...buy a car not a hotwheels.

  • lol! honday, sorry were not all guys that try to make a civic into a fucking spaceship. those stupid people and there civivcs....all they do is throw a fuckin cherrybomb on them and think they actually gain some HP...

  • sounds better at a lower RPM to me. at the higher RPMs its a bit winey. when im at ~1200 RPMs i set off car alarms

  • dude, I did the same thing, Gutted the cat and put a flow master on. I love it. the only thing I dont love is how the check engine light comes on now because of the gutted cat

  • do you still have your o2 sensor? cuz all i did was plug it in then zip tied it up under the jeep (make sure take it off if its wet out) then reset the computer by unplugging the battery for 15 minutes and my check engine light went away. i forgot to take it out when i went wheeling later that week and i did a water crossing which fried the sensor.

  • take the cat off. it will sound much better. i have a 93 xj with a 4.0 no cat with a super 40. sounds really good.

  • i didnt for awhile since i was living in an area that didnt require emissions but when i moved back to texas i had to pass so on went a high flow cat. there was no sound difference when i put it on and now i can legally drive my jeep without having to worry about getting tickets

  • sounds good but if u dont have a stock exaust on a TJ people can argue but they sound almost like a diesel to me lol

  • ha yeah it does actually

  • how do u tell wat kind of flowmaster exhaust u have, i have flow's but idk wat kind they r

  • no idea. i know my super 40 was black when i first got it. id just go to a local exhaust shop and ask if the could take a look and see what kind it is. of course for free. if they try and charge you anything just to look leave

  • what tailpipe you have just a pipe that runs down from the muffler or what? seems like it

  • No cat.... hmmmm

  • What else is done to the jeep, cuz it sounds nice but is there more?

  • airaid cold air intake with throttle body spacer, 2.5" pipes, no cat.

  • I haven't got the chance to turn up the volume on this yet cause I'm at work in the office, its not really a casual friday you could say. But, you should check out www.4wd.com, sign up for the catalog, its all jeeps. I just bought a 2" lift for my cherokee. You should post a pic or another vid with your jeep, so I can see the whole thing. Very nice tone with this muffler.
