Can the mark v do every type of metal? From 80s thrash to death metal?

@acejcra When I say thrash, I mean the Big 4, you know, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer, but I don't really like Metallica. But you know what I mean. Can the mark v get the tones these guys have used in their albums?

@gearslut69 Yes it can, No problem. I play some of their songs and I get very similar tones. I have the combo which comes stock with a C90 Celestion speaker and 6L6's power tubes and I recently changed the Speaker to a Celestion V30 and EL34 tubes and that really changed the sound and it's perfect for Metal.

Mark V extreme setttings? Also are you running the effects in the front of the loop or Fx loop of the Mark V? Sliders or presets? Thanks just having a hard time dialing in my Mark V for metal.

I used channel 3 mark IV mode with effects in the Fx loop (send and return)

Thanks dude, I used channel 3 on the Mark IV mode, I kinda miss my Mark IV though, I used to own the Head but I only liked channel 3, and on the Mark Mark V I like all the different tones you can get on all three channels.
