  • Several studies have shown casein protein in milk to cause cancer. What do you think?

  • Thanx dr g im going to try this bc i know these meds r not good for me.

  • ty doc awesome video

  • I understand celery seed in capsule form and raw celery too, can lower blood pressure. While working in a natural health food store, one lady told me she gives celery seed to her dog to help his arthritis also. Another lady told me celery seed lowered her husbands blood pressure quickly. That's not to say to keep downing those bloody caesar's lol. Celery ok : )

Celery seed with NO salt... better.

    Garlic is a given.

  • What's your opinion on hemp oil as a source of omega 3 and 6 doc?

  • Very useful video. Thanks Dr. G.

  • A lot of the "Ocean Spray" drinks don't contain any high fructose corn syrup or aspartame or sucralose. I trust that brand. Don't get the "lite" versions because they contain crap.

  • thank you Doc G for making a video with natural remedies for HBP.

  • I don't have high blood pressure!! One of the things i do everyday is have a large bowl of cooked oatmeal with blueberries.I know oats lower cholestrol and read all about how blueberries are said to lower cholsterol and may help blood pressure too! I believe oats and blueberries are about as healthy a breakfast as you could have and hope i am keeping myself from getting high blood pressure! I will try those foods you talked about as well Thanks

  • Dr G, me again :) My doc called in a scrip for the reserpine. Major drug chain doesn't stock. I found it at the online pharm 247 discount meds. No prescription needed and cheap. Do you think this is a trustworthy source?

  • @17babaha Reserpine has been discontinued in the UK for some years due to its numerous interactions and side effects. Get a better doctor.

  • @nilbud I'm hoping Dr. G. will respond to this...

  • @nilbud I actually use reserpine a lot in very low dose when I need more than natural means to lower blood pressure. The trials shows it works well to lower heart disease and stroke. It is originally from a plant so is a natural molecule. My theory is big pharma got companies to stop making it so we would have to use the expensive, unproven, more side effect laden drugs that they push on doctors and patients.

  • @17babaha I have no idea of the quality of an on line pharmacy but I also don't see any incentive to sell you something else because reserpine is cheap and plentiful (at least it used to be). In Arizona my patients have been able to get the .25mg at Walmart. As far as the need for a diuretic, when you need a drug, nothing beats the diuretics cost, effect and side effect profile. I like to use amiloride/HCTZ at very low dose as their is less potassium loss than straight HCTZ.

  • I agree 100%.

  • Dr. G...Thanks so much for your videos. I love your approach to medical issues and have learned a lot from you. I am already implementing most of the measures you mention in this video. My blood pressure spiked rather suddenly to around 180/100, and remained there for a couple weeks. I finally went on ACE inhibitor but experienced many side effects. I was so happy to read your alternate recommendations.

  • regarding your last video - I do not retain water, nor am I overweight. I do have 150/80 BP. Will a diuretic still work for me?

  • @17babaha A diuretic pulls water out of the system thereby reducing the volume of blood and thus lowering the pressure. It's either that or the leeches ;)

  • @nilbud I was also told the dystolic is the one that counts (the second number) the first one isn't the one to watch. Some people have naturally higher than normal BP. Look up conscious breathing on youtube. Ignore the spirit mumbo jumbo and follow the breathing instructions. You can use it to cure hangovers or just a couple of minutes will settle your system down and reduce your stress and your heartbeat. Side effects may include hippyness and wind chimes.
