I used to work for Walmart as part of thier management team in Texas...I support everything that's been said in this vid-clip - it is all 100% true. I don't work for them anymore...you couldn't pay me enough to work for them again. I would prefer to die with as least some semblance of morality and integrity. Buy local...God bless.
I used to work with the buyers of the walmart corporate office. From what I remember, walmart did not make their own clothing; that is to say, they bought branded clothes from other companies like Fruite of the Loom, Haines, and so forth. Walmart does not own either company. Most, if not all, of thier merchandise is created by independent companies from small unheard of compaies to big names like Sony and Microsoft and often times they get a lower quality model to sell a lower prices.
The question is never if it's right , the question is if its profitable.
We have a MONETARY SYSTEM. The monetary system does not encourage cooperation and sharing, instead its rewards greed and scarcity. so companies to make a-lot of money/survive in the market place, will do anything, even use slavery. We tried had a monetary system for over 2000 years, and we still have 1 billion people starving. Lets try something new. A member of the Zeitgeist movement.
