I've been to several events that include tea party folks. Including the 9-12 March in DC and a gathering of about 30-40 thousand in DC the day before the Health Care swindle. There has never been violence, the threat of violence, racism, bigotry at ANY of the events I attended. While this looks like a serious case of overkill, its probably the result of the Secret Service doing there jobs and having to be EXTRA careful.
