There is definitely a strum limit. Try strumming super fast before the song starts. You'll see that you hear stuttered missed and it takes a while for you to fail.

No, it doesn't fail, it proves that there's a strum limit when playing on 60hz.

When you use the old component AV cable for your Xbox and set it to TV - PAL 50Hz, goodbye strum limit. See my video of My Last Words bridge FC. It's on PAL 50Hz, and my record on PAL 60Hz is 91%.

The reason it's always on in NTSC discs is that you can't go 50Hz with NTSC. It's forced 60Hz.

Yes what he did is humanly possible, what he's pointing out is that once he reaches a certain speed, the notes stop registering. Thus there is a limit to how fast you can strum.

Apparently My Last Words strumming is faster than the strum limit so if you wanna FC the strumming parts (Which ukogmonkey did cuz he's beast) you have to hit the first note way early and last note way late

The strum limit is not technically programmed into the game. The notes are so quick and must be hit precisely, or the game won't hit them. The strum limit does exist by technicality in vsync (depending on where you live, this is 50 - 60 NPS).

I got a 4 combo for like half of the fast strumming for GGaHT. I use a the Strat. But that's actually something to look into, a possibility I think is that your guitar is faulty.

Actually, the effect that it makes on screen when you hit/strum is not synonymous with the actual "hit/strum limit". If the note is supposed to be hit or strummed then it can be, no matter the consecutiveness. This is true in many rhythm games. The only limitation is that of your own.

Its true, try to fail right of the bat in a song. Strum VERY fast, i mean insanely fast like this guy. It will start going down then you'll see your bar doesn't even move for gaps. IF you do it fast enough it won't bring you down at all. Shows the strums don't register because if they did, in theory you would fail VERY fast, but if you strum to fast, you wont fail at all
