Ok done what you said now phone screen says download mode' im waiting for what to happen.. i hope this isnt a bad video cuz i dont want a bricked phone.. ok i waited patiently thinking what those russian words could mean and my phone turned itself on and off a few times and now at phone settings it says i has firmware version 2.1 so i assume everything is alright

@raks017 install the RIGHT driver (Look for your phone type e.g mine is a LG GT540) and once installed everything on your phone, Mount your phone to your computer by pressing the notification menu and press the mount USB. It should depending on O/S (Operating system, e.g: Windows XP) Should auto start which is the box you get when you put a USB into a computer. Reply if errors

no, there is no way to get multitouch cause the hardware doesnt support it. and yes u can install froyo but i wont post links to it. but its possible
