@jayi836 if you want to repair a small section of felt, take a similar weight of felt paper and try to tuck it
underneath the existing roofing felt. Coat the edges with roofing cement. The best approach would be to detach the tiles in the area and cut out the section of felt, but that is a lot of work. Patching in a piece will normally work and keep the roof water tight.

Great tip and thank you. how do you repair the Felt paper underneath the tile damaged by the sun over 15 years.
