@anyone thinking of trying Dilaudid for the 1st time. I was in a disabling car wreck. After 10yrs of being on every narcotic made, the Dr. put me on D's, within a fairly short time it took me eating 16mg.& injecting 16mg, along with a Fentanyl Patch to even get a buzz . I have been addicted to one type of drug or another for 40 yrs.Dilaudid has been the hardest drug drug to control, but I've been able to for 6yrs. now (only because I never want my family to have to know the pain of burying me).
I tried to quit by myself and ended up at the E.R. with my blood pressure so high I was in danger of having a stroke. It is a daily struggle being a recovering addict who HAS to take such an addicting drug to make my pain bearable. I am not trying to brag or preach to anyone. I am just saying, I know what I am talking about. Please, Please, Please, don't think this would be a cool drug to try.
NO offense, but this song does NOT capture Dilaudid for me.... I'd go with something more mellow and uplifting. For me, it creates amazing euphoria along with the normal opiate high, but only when I hork them up my nose. I'm terrified of needles, but all my idiot junky friends rave about how I'm wasting them, and then I see how much more they do shooting them all the time, and how sick they get.
If you've never done this shit, stay the fuck away, it will eventually ruin your life. No joke.
@staphinfection I think you're taking the title too literally. This song uses Dilaudid as a metaphor to describe a relationship that is really bad for you (like you said), but at the same time feels good (like you also said).
@staphinfection Other than everything else I've post about the dangers of the evils of Dilaudid addiction here, I agree with your comment, but it is a great song and band.
I live in Boone, hate it, obsessively drive to Charlotte and back (usually for things similar to dilaudid)...and the time in the car looks just like this so I watched it thinking of my drives and then reading the comments, I'm really glad it's around the area.
If anyone is struggling with addiction and can't afford to get on Suboxone maintenance themselves since doctors are so expensive, I have some extra 8mg scripts of Suboxone I am not using if anyone is interested in them send me a message on here. I got them for free with insurance so I'd give you a really good deal. Thanks.
@peanutangel1 It is in on HWY 221 in Linville, NC toward Boone, NC. Oddly enough, I am potentially moving to Oregon in a few months. Portland is calling my name.
@shyguyjakie but NORTH CAROLINA! i'm in Lake Lure. familiar w/ it? I just moved off of the lake and onto 221 right near on the edge of Marion. cool I know where this is.
I see sorry.I got cancer on my spine so 24mg. dosen't do shit I take 45mg hydro every 8hrs and 2-4mg dillies3-4hrs,yhe difference is the hydromorph is timerelease so it last longer but itis the same thing.
@eldiablo385 How the fuck do you get our hands on that shit? I really wanna try it but all i get my hands on is vics, percs, ocs, and morphs. I truly have no idea how to find that shit. any tips?
i'm pathetic...6 months to a year clean AND still craving..i have a feeling that i will always crave my opiodes as long as i live...since i first encounterd them at 9 years old
I want that hydromorphone in my veins how can I live like this, without them. 2 months clean, I will relapse as soon as I can get them but they have proven a bitch to get. I'm selling all my possessions worth any money. I wish I didn't have to do it but I have no choice the opioids made the choice for me. :(
god i have to move to another country then...i'm an off again and off again junkie since that stint with cheap heroin while liveing in seattle...i am an addict i can go 6 months without any opitotes 9and have) and the second i'm put any sort of opiotes in front of my face weather heroin and oxys or something as weak as darvoccet and codine i'll start salavating

Oh yay, we all know our Opiates and prescription pills. You all must be so punk rock. Tell me, do you crush them up and shoot them? All at once? How messed up you are. I bet you read a lot of Jim Carroll and Burroughs, dont you.
The drug you are referring to is called Palladone (Hydromorphone HCI Extended Release) it was taken off the US market due to a potential overdose risk if it was used with alcohol.
This drug is still available in other countries under such names as Hydromorph Contin
Opana (Oxymorphone) Opana ER is still available as it was not recalled. This is a new formulation of an older drug known as Numorphan
Everyone is different but this drug was God awful. It gave me headaches, vomiting, dizziness that just did not stop in the time I was prescribed it. You couldn't pay me to take this again. I was finally Rx'd Oxycontin and it was like night and day. I have my life back. I truly dislike having to take Opioids but when you suffer from severe neuropathic pain and nothing else works to stop it what choice does one have?
they still do. they have contin versions called opana and injections called numorphan. its also interesting to note that oxycodone transforms into oxymorphone as well(metabolite)
That's not what I experienced. I was on cloud, oh.... lets's say 7-cause 9 would be exagerrating- for about 2 hours. I kept nodding off, thinking about fucking my girlfriend, and hoping that I wouldn't start puking like my friend was...I eventually did.
man when i had dilaudid after my surgery, i was begging for this every day lol just to sleep in the hospital.. it is the best high ill prolly ever experience in my life it was so beautiful
i had dilaudid when i broke my leg in half. it was as good as sex. not better. opiates are the devil if abused. three times stronger than morphine. next worst thing to heroin. great song
i just snorted 8mg dilaudid. that shit had me buzzed for almost an hour. they are good and better than roxys

you are IN NO WAY pathetic.
i was 2 weeks away from being a year sober before i relapsed.
opiates are unbelievably powerful, it's obviously difficult to stay off once you've been attached.
you're human. i'm clean now, but barely. and i'll want them forever too. i understand completely.

yeah morphine not heroin.. even though heroin turns back into morphine in the brain.
i read somewhere that fentanyl is some 80-100 times more potent than morphine
strong shite
soggyleftovers 2 years ago
6-8 times
soggyleftovers 2 years ago
It is more potent than Heroin on a mg-to-mg basis, but the heroin high is better because it lasts longer.
the dilaudid rush is fucking amazing though, pure bliss for a minute or so
