Everything from the story, the references to the movie, the production values, the direction, all so perfectly executed. amazing work, just lovely. cheers!
@Nonamearisto He was kind all along but even in later books he feels himself incapable of romantic love though he does eventually seek out his fiance again he does it out of duty. Well that's if you take the text at face value, there's other interpretations there.
@Nonamearisto Even in this though at the end he is humming their love song so clearly he still cares and might be considered to "have a heart". To me it's like losing his heart is him losing sight of what's important and after all that time stuck there by the time Dorothy shows up he's seen the error of his ways to an extent, kind of giving him his "heart" back even if he hasn't realized it.
he looks like C 3PO

This is incredible. What a beautiful way to start the Wizard of oz. The real movie should be a sequel to this

I like how they are building the yellow-brick road at the beginning, it's little touches like that which make all of whitestone's shorts excellent!

Very dark, but an interesting and different take on the source material. This deserves WAY more views!

You think he would learn not to use the damn ax anymore after the second time.

@Myowlbones it showed how desperate he was though, to get the cabin finished for his love and how dedicated he was before his heart was gone

@Myowlbones Maybe he just wanted to build a future with her so much he just didn't stop to think about that

This is NOT how Baum's Tin woodsman was like. The Tin Woodsman had a heart all along.

That was painfully sad, but excellently executed.

That was a great story. Nice Job, except for the parts where you´re cuting the tree(s), I really enjoy it.
