Stop flogging that dead horse Ron Paul. McCain is too far ahead to be hurt by the NYT allegations. They don't ring true anyway. And if the worst did happen to McCain, Huckabee is way ahead of RP. RP is having trouble keeping his Texan seat let alone keeping his campaign viable.
Voting for Ron Paul is a throwaway vote if anything or it will help Clinton and McCain.
Your boy, RP, didn't stand his ground and ran away with tail between legs when the going got tough.
He didn't own the newsletter, he sold it. When you sell a publication you can't change the name... otherwise it would basically be totally different and the subscribers would leave
And keep avoiding my question will you [/sarcasm] Question is: do you believe Ron Paul when he said he didn't see the controversial newsletters until years later?
"The quotations ... are not mine and do not represent what I believe or have ever believed. I have never uttered such words and denounce such small-minded thoughts.
"When I was out of Congress and practicing medicine full-time, a newsletter was published under my name that I did not edit. Several writers contributed to the product. For over a decade, I have publicly taken moral responsibility for not paying closer attention to what went out under my name."
Ron Paul is not acceptable to the American people because of his racist views. He thought it would all be forgotten but it wasn't and his candidacy is a lameduck one.
Let's not forget his homophobic views as well, views he also disowned. Does Ron Paul stick by anything he said or has been published in his name?
I would respect the guy more if he had stood by what he wrote even if I didn't agree with it. But this guy is coward and a hypocrite. He'd pin 100% blame on his friends and expect them to fall on the sword for him. As I said, this dog don't hunt. Stay away from Ron Paul, Alex Jones and his brainwashed racist & bigoted supporters.
When a campaign is built on deceit it is bound to fail. Right now he's asking money from his supporters altho he's given up on the campaign and now speaks about a movement. Pretty exploitative isn't it. Dishonest to the bone. He should just drop out, announce the mvt and THEN ask for money to run it.
How many candidates belong to a racially divisive so-called 'church' (The organization he belongs to is just a thinly disguised socialist group masquerading as a church.)?
How many candidates have been quoted as saying blatantly racist statements such as their own racial/ethnic background "is what makes them the best candidate" (Check the quotes from the MTV Q&A)?
yeah and also watch "Freedom to Fascism" by Aaron Russo, "Zeitgeit" and Alex Jones' "Terrorstorm" and listen to Alex Jones talk about the sex orgies that go on at Bohemian Grove events, as well as talk about the human sacrifice that goes on ...
Watch out for the Bush crime family, Marvin was the mastermind behind the collapse of the WTC ...
And remember to take your antipsychotic medication as well ...
Ron Paul represents corruption, Reaganism, anti-evolution and Rapture fanatics, corporatism and less taxes for rich people; he is for Big Business like Halliburton, Raytheon, Blackwater. He is divorced from the people. He lied about the newsletters and is weak in debates and has no style - look at the shitty ads he put out. Ron Paul is the dog that don't hunt. Obama=future and hope and change.
Pretty sad whe you have to lie to defend your candidate. Obama is the establishment. He likes the FEDERAL RESERVE! his wife is a CFR MEMBER! his advisor is Zbignew Brezinsky.
dispute these facts, don't make up lies about other candidates.
I guess that makes Ron Paul a hero, too. He wrote legislation to abolish it.
Once control of the nation's money is back in the hands of the people 'to whom it properly belongs' as Jefferson said, then we can move ahead to create real change.
What bugs me most about Obama is that Zbignew Brezinsky is advising him on Foreign policy. Zbiggy makes the Neo-Cons look like a bunch of wussies. When all is said and done, Obama will prove to be a deep disappointment to all those who voted for him.
And Ron Paul is praised by Greenspan for thinking alike on economics. Remember Greenspan? Chairman of the Fed Reserve who printed all that money?
Ron Paul doesn't want to get rid of corporatism. He wants less regulation of corporations and he wants less taxation for them. He thinks corporations generate employment not the individual, not the lone small businessman with a great idea. Ron Paul represents arteriosclerosis.
FYI, Before Greenspan became Fed Chairman he wrote that he preferred the gold standard to the current fiat system. He said the same thing just recently. That's where RP and AG agree. Of course AG never said anything like that WHILE he was Fed Chairman. I've heard of uninformed and misinformed, but you are ill-informed, Mr. Sheople.
Of course he would love the gold standard. Who owns most of the world's gold? Zionists. Ron Paul is just a foolish pawn of the Zionists. Everyone knows the American dollar is not viable currency any more. Greenspan is just playing "good guy" now.
And you think this is a good thing that he has the support of someone who's a hypocrite? Yeah, abandon your principles once you're appointed Chairman and then when you step down, say you never believed in fiat money. Facile. Smooth. Turnabout when it suits you. No wonder he supports Ron Paul, probably would like to make money off the gold scam that would be the gold standard. And Ron Paul would make a nice little pile too.
I never heard AG said he supported RP. He said he supports gold circulating as money, but he could never say that while Chairman of the Fed. Get your facts straight. Again, you come off as ill-informed. Maybe Barack Obama is as ill-informed as you are.
You're uneducated: Zbigniew worked for Carter & was responsible for keeping Carter out of a war with Iran during the hostage crisis. As soon as Reagan was elected, the neocons took over foreign policy and attacked Libya and Israel attacked Lebanon and ran a covert war in Afghanistan against the Soviets. I wish you Ron Paultards would grow up & snap out of your CFR conspiracy fantasies. If you had bothered to read Zbig's books on Empire you'd understand he was WARNING against the building of it.
CFR is not a conspiracy theory, its a conspiracy fact., ZBIG is a war monger who wants to attack Russia, Obama is the Establishment. Obama won't address the FED FRAUD! calling people names and lying is a real positive image for the Obama propaganda machine.
It's like the Israelis saying "why bring up the USS Liberty? It happened years ago, you Holocaust-denying antisemite."
We all know Ron Paul and his followers are good at making excuses.
After all he NEVER laid eyes on the controversial newsletters; you know the one that someone "ghostwrote". He had NO IDEA what was going on. He was SO busy he couldn't spare 10 min to read a newsletter published UNDER his name and only found out YEARS after the fact.
Well, it depends if you think calling blacks "animals" and calling places where they live "Zooville" is racist or not. If Ron Paul didn't think they were racist, why did he disown them? What did Kirchick fabricate? He went right to the original source.
You still can't defend Ron Paul's lies that he was unaware of the controversial newsletters until years after the fact, meanwhile the 'ghostwriter' was allowed to write racist newsletters for years.
Debunked? How? Ron Paul said yes those newletters were his and his story keeps changing about them. He wrote them and then somebody else wrote them and he never laid his eyes on them for years and years. The lies he told about them are worse than the newsletters themselves.
Ron Paul is a liar and that is why his support dropped, if he can't be honest toward his supporters why should they support him.
You are a fool to believe him when he says he never read his own newsletters for years.
If Obama wants to create meaningful change he should plan to remove the Federal Reserve's monopoly on money. He should dismantle the other head of the double-headed beast - the IRS. Once he indicates that's his intention, then I'll know he's for real. Until then, he's just another phony politician.
Look up Council of Foreign Relations...cfr and you will find that in spite of being a good orator, Obama is just another Clinton. You will see no change except you will be farther in debt if he becomes president.
He wasn't dumb enough to vote for the war like Hillary. He doesn't want steal and cheat voters by having Michigan and Florida votes count when every nominee vowed to not stay on the ballot or campaign there, unlike Hillary. Do I need to continue? Hillary is a liar and a fraud, just like her moron followers.
Because McCain is a warmongering idgit that would drive this country further into a financial crisis, because the Billary machine is a corrupted, fraud-laden, special interest driven politico, that can't keep from smear campaigning, or any other dirty tactic, not to mention she's(they) probably won't be able to beat McInsane anyway...? Would those be decent enough reasons?
I support Obama because of his views on the current issues. You're, StormCommander, probably a republican who knows nothing about him. Hell, you probably don't know anything about McCain either because the majority of republicans that I've talked to don't even know the views of the candidates they are supporting.
Actually, you didn't saying anything about issues. I know that Obama voted for the Patriot Act, I bet you didn't know about that or would gladly brush it aside... anything for your cult leader, right? And Obama may want to get out of Iraq, but he wants to move the troops to Pakistan! Warmonger! McCain, Hillary, Obama... they'd all be awful presidents.
Actually, he never said anything about seriously deciding to go to Pakistan. He said that if he had reason to that he would. You're just believing all the bullshit that McCain is talking about. If he did decide to bomb parts of Pakistan it would be because the country would not comply with our wishes that the terrorist camps there should be dealt with, and in that case I would fully support it. And believe me, I know the issues. They just wouldn't fit inside a youtube comment.
Oh, and not to mention that McCain is the war monger. He's the one who wants to sit in Iraq for 100 years. Yeah, I bet that would help the country *sarcasm*. As for the Patriot Act, that was one mistake, and at the time it probably seemed like a good idea. In times of crisis the government should be given more power, but only temporarily. Obama is now fighting against that law because it infringes on a right to privacy, which actually isn't a right in the constitution, but it should be.
Johnhoulgate: The 4th Amendment protects from search and seizure. The 5th has to do with court cases and double jeopardy and stuff like that. Nothing protects this country from wire taps, satellite pictures, or anything else like that. There is no official right to privacy, and that is what the government has been continually trying to take away.
Amendment IV - "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
Aren't wiretapping and photo taking a form of searching, especially if there is no warrant? I think the right to privacy is clearly defined here.
I know what you meant, but the fact is, is that it happened, and people make mistakes. Of all the politicians out there, Barack has probably made the least amount of mistakes, especially among the candidates.
They ask, "What kind of change?"... How about truth, honesty, integrity and good character for once! More than tackling political issues with mere logic, Obama will positively change the course of our history with his good heart, common sense and 'Spirit of Aloha'!

I'm not sure about Wisconsin... but I definitely know he's going to win Hawaii.

They ask, "What kind of change?"... How about truth, honesty, integrity and good character for once! More than tackling political issues with mere logic, Obama will positively change the course of our history with his good heart, common sense and 'Spirit of Aloha'!
