so? they didnt have an exclusivity deal. the only reason it wasnt released on ps3 is because they had the 360 dev kits a year before they had the ps3 ones, the game was already in production. It was easier to finish the 360 version and PC, then port to ps3.

Having a lot of sales doesn't necessarily make a game good. Out of the 32 360 game that I own, Halo 3 is easily my least favorite, and that game got a shitload of sales and good reception, and at one point was the best selling FPS of all time(for whatever strange reason) On the other hand, Bioshock is probably my 5th favorite 360 game. This is because the game was actually original and brought a fresh gameplay experience to the player. Plus the combat in Bioshock was much more fun and complex.
Your telling me that 11 Million copies + doesn't count for anything? I'm not the one to criticize but one opinion like yours won't stop 1 million people from playing CoD4 for two straight years (along with Halo) just on Multiplayer. No other blockbusters from this generation have lasted longer. And now that MW2 is the biggest entertainment launch in history, Infinity Ward has carried on the tradition.
Everybody has an opinion, but apparently more people just like the CoD series...
I never said that I dislike Call of Duty, hence why I used Halo 3 as an example instead of Call of Duty 4(I actually enjoyed the single player campaign on Cod4). It just bothered me that you acted like Modern Warfare 2 is the best game ever simply because it sold more copies than other games. But as you said, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Not to mention MW2 is just a rehash and expansion of MW. It's the same game with a few new maps, new guns and a couple of extra perks and features.
FFXIII has a new world, characters, plot, battle-system, hundreds of hours of gameplay, tons of replayability.

so? they didnt have an exclusivity deal. the only reason it wasnt released on ps3 is because they had the 360 dev kits a year before they had the ps3 ones, the game was already in production. It was easier to finish the 360 version and PC, then port to ps3.

Having a lot of sales doesn't necessarily make a game good. Out of the 32 360 game that I own, Halo 3 is easily my least favorite, and that game got a shitload of sales and good reception, and at one point was the best selling FPS of all time(for whatever strange reason) On the other hand, Bioshock is probably my 5th favorite 360 game. This is because the game was actually original and brought a fresh gameplay experience to the player. Plus the combat in Bioshock was much more fun and complex.

Your telling me that 11 Million copies + doesn't count for anything? I'm not the one to criticize but one opinion like yours won't stop 1 million people from playing CoD4 for two straight years (along with Halo) just on Multiplayer. No other blockbusters from this generation have lasted longer. And now that MW2 is the biggest entertainment launch in history, Infinity Ward has carried on the tradition.
Everybody has an opinion, but apparently more people just like the CoD series...

I never said that I dislike Call of Duty, hence why I used Halo 3 as an example instead of Call of Duty 4(I actually enjoyed the single player campaign on Cod4). It just bothered me that you acted like Modern Warfare 2 is the best game ever simply because it sold more copies than other games. But as you said, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
