Oh hello! Have you ever tried - fast abs magic (just google it)? Ive heard some decent things about it and my friend got hot Six pack abs and lost a ton of weight with it.
Congratulations on your 100 day juice/water fast, amazing ! and the amount of weight you lost is absolutely staggering. I am on day 49 of a 56 day juice fast and posting a daily video on youtube about my journey. The next step is of course transitioning back to solid foods and thats how I found your video. No doubt I will do regular videos about that. anyway, congratulations again on such a fantastic weight loss and do it for 100 days!
@hessoofficial I did some workouts and exercise, but nothing hardcore while doing the 100 day juice fast. I've heard a good compromise or alternative is to do a smoothie fast instead. That would make it a liquid diet, but of course, you're still getting the fiber and not the full benefit of a true juice fast. Either way (juice or smoothie fast), greens are important. I was lacking greens for a while and certainly felt it!
I was going to delete your comment, but then decided not to.
I KNOW that I'm going to lose this fat and KEEP IT OFF FOREVER! (Regardless of what you or anyone else thinks). Considering how much I've lost in just 6 months - easily the weight of a small adult - it's an amazing start.
@PeterDouglasRAW excellent job on your weight loss, im hoping to shift some pounds and am on day 4 of drinking smoothies, i might try this 100 day thing
ps when does that feeling you get when you want to pass out go lol
@PeterDouglasRAW - GOOD! DON'T LET PEOPLE GET YOU DOWN!! I JUST HEARD ABOUT THIS DIET RECENTLY AND I AM SUPER EXCITED TO START A WHOLE NEW HEALTHY LIFESTYLE!
@PeterDouglasRAW Good for you.I'm glad you didn't delete the comment. There are people on you-tube who do these things. They really are to be pitied.Because they know they can't do it and want to.Or wouldn't of been looking here.Jesus said to pray for those who do these things. They know not what they are doing. You are in the light, they are in the dark.So they can't help it,as their father is you know who. Some of my best friends were these, after the light switch came on,we now are best of buds.
Peter, i just want to congratulate you on youre amazing accomplishment! You should be so very proud! You look wonderful! You have inspired me to start a juice fast! I always thought it would be impossible to shake my extra 20 pounds, but you are living proof that you can reach your goals! Thankyou and all the best on your journey :)
I also used to juice but didn't like tossing all the fiber out. I now am doing smoothies, and taking in all the fiber, which is so necessary for good health. I suggest you use your blender too, not just your juicer. Also, really look into hemp products. Raw hemp seeds by Nutiva are a favorite of mine.
I'm doing smoothies now as well. But during my juice fast, my goal was to detoxify and also lose fat. To accomplish the detoxification part and give my intestines a rest, I couldn't have the fiber. Believe me, I felt bad throwing it out, but during the juice fast, I couldn't have the fiber. I am now that the fast is over and I love my new Vitamix blender (I use it almost every day). I do use some hemp products - currently hemp protein powder. I will look for the raw hemp seeds, thanks! :)
I forgot to mention, I still juice, though not as much. I actually just bought a new juicer, but mostly because I wanted one that would juice wheatgrass and leafy greens (my old juicer didn't do a very good job of this).
I got a Samson juicer. I don't recall the model number, but I think all Samson juicers are good for wheatgrass, leafy greens, etc. I haven't tried wheatgrass in it yet, but it works amazingly well on spinach, kale, etc. That's where my old Champion juicer didn't do so well.
Have you tried adding leafy greens to the blender, in smoothies? I know spinach is softer so I did and it worked fine. I am just trying to get feedback on this b/c if I can save the money I'd like to. I know that wheat grass is not doable, but what about kale, collards, and other greens, I wonder?
Oh yes, I make a green smoothie almost every morning now. Usually with kale, but sometimes spinach, Swiss chard or anything dark and leafy green I have available. Kale is what I usually use for my smoothies.
For sure wheatgrass is not doable, but now that I have the new juicer, I'm looking forward to trying wheatgrass juice.
Peter, I'm sure you've read the controversy about 100% not being right for everyone. There are many foods that are more nutritious from having heat applied, such as tomatoes. I'd submit to you that you don't need to be radical and doing so will make your life easier. That's my goal, to do things always in balance. I've tried being radical and it only made me drop everything.
Thanks for the info. I've seen and met some people who went 100% raw and have done quite well (and I've done some research on going 100% raw). I've also seen and met some people who have gone "high raw" - like about 80% raw and who have also done quite well. At this point there are days where I'm 100% raw and some days, due mostly to convenience, where I'm mostly, or high raw. There are benefits to both and I'm still working it out. Thanks, have an awesome day, Peace :)
Keep up the raw life as I know you will.Take the food eating at a slow pace.Like myself you will tend to want to still drink juices over eating foods.I rather juice too.
Yes, I've noticed this too. It doesn't take much to feel full, even just with a smoothie. I still like drinking juices too. And after going this long on a juice fast, I won't ever complain about being hungry again! I can get through it!!
For sure! In my next update I'll let you know how it went. But so far, I can say that it feels weird when I eat now. Even just sticking to green smoothies, I can actually feel the weight of the food in my stomach. It doesn't hurt, but I can tell there's food in there. And the capacity is much smaller! I can't even finish my green smoothie now - it takes a while to sip away at it and eventually finish it. Time to make smaller quantities!
