One thing Elton hasn't said is he supports his anti-gay lyrics. He's said little about that, which is actually why a lot of gay people I know don't like him. He has said that he supports Eminem as a man. And that they are close friends, and I know Em gave he and David Furnish presents and reached out to him when they got married.
I think Eminem is more of an asshole than he is homophobic. He knows what will get a rise out of people and he does it. That makes him a bad role-model IMO.

I'm looking at it from all perspectives. On one side, people need to take what Em says with a grain of salt and look at it objectively and in depth to his character. On the other side, some of the offensive shit he says.........is very offensive.

One thing Elton hasn't said is he supports his anti-gay lyrics. He's said little about that, which is actually why a lot of gay people I know don't like him. He has said that he supports Eminem as a man. And that they are close friends, and I know Em gave he and David Furnish presents and reached out to him when they got married.
I think Eminem is more of an asshole than he is homophobic. He knows what will get a rise out of people and he does it. That makes him a bad role-model IMO.

Elton says that Em is a good guy, blah blah blah, he's helped him kick his drug habit. They go pretty far back.
The thing is, though, that Elton John is one man, and that's it.
