@David0dbz0goku Why? We had choppers, jets, tanks etc. in BF1942, Vietnam, BF2 and 2142. CoD still "dominated" (read: more sales) the marked.
I think the biggest difference is going to be that most of the original developers from CoD (46 of them) left IW because of the whole IW vs. Activision lawsuits and non-sense.
BF3 will of course be a better game, but final nail? Far from it. That game will sell a shit-ton and Activision will keep on making them until they don't sell anymore.
@bamsebomsen I think the COD sales will start dropping here soon. Battlefield has always been a "Better" game to me because of it's variety. Now, the graphics are far superior to what COD is doing. They may only be 30 fps, but at least they've upgraded their graphics from the last game... something I can't say that COD has done for awhile.
@midnightspctrum anything over 60fps make no diff to any pc game, you could 1000fps and it would still not make the game look any better. it's only when you drop below 30fps that you start to get graphic lag/stuttering. PC games are just better graphics than consoles thats why it looks so damm good. I have alreayd played Alpha testing cant wait for beta testing never midn the main game in novemeber
@midnightspctrum Very true... I Forgot about that. It's the console version of the game that's limited to the 30fps, not the PC. I must admit, I'm a bit envious of the extra options the pc version will have (64 players, WOW).
