@blizard0717 there's a lot of maths in explaining the origami bases more so in making animals than in modular though. For example the number of flaps (which you can turn into legs, heads, tails or wings) is proportional to the number of equilateral triangles in the crease pattern (usually increased by blintzing one of the main four bases) of the base if you want to design any of these sorts of things maths will help alot. Origami / Mathematics rant over :)
