I think the story behind this was that Chip was the original winner—that *is* Ryan's shirt you see next to Colin during one of the verses. But Ryan was getting really frustrated (we all know how he loves hoedowns), so they made him the "winner," let him sit out, and put Chip in for him. It's several takes spliced together; I think if Ryan had actually won, it would have gone in the usual order with Colin finishing it off instead.
