  • JACQUE FRESCO WANTS TO CHIP YOUR BRAINS! NWO!

  • flatscreen built on a wall, he really has great insight. We have that now :P

  • @TechReid How about the downloading of songs? We have it also. A lot of stuff he foresee let's hope that the rest of the stuff become true as well.

  • notice my man Jacques is doing all the talking like a BOSS and limpy king is holding his brain.

  • omg he predicted what I'm doing right now, youtube on a flatscreen. 40 years ago ! wow

  • he predicted cloud storage :O

  • They were talking about glowing walls in the news a few weeks ago...

  • im blown away. Jacque Fresco just predicted internet radio, flat screen tvs, and many other technologies we are creating in the 21st century and he was doing this almost 40 years ago. he is truly a genius.

  • This guy is simply amazing

  • ahead of his time back then, we can assume he's still ahead of our time now!

  • wow, we'r in 1974 and he's mentioning "flat screens", "dialing for your music", "solar energy"... a true visionary...

  • jacque was the father of p2p

  • It's surreal seeing how people are turning to cloud computing these days - it was his exact vision 40 years ago.

  • GENIUS. But I have a question: Suppose there is no competition bc resources are free and infinitely abundant... will there be motivaiton to become our best? Humans are what we are bc we evolved through natural competition over limited resources. Competition over limited resources motivates us to be the best. Doctors are often motivated knowing their career offers huge competitive advantage over limited resources. If everyone had limitless free resources, why work so hard to become skilled?

  • (3) You simpy know what to do, you understand that every individuality here connects to each other and that by its progress you can make a quantum leap towards your own.... I know this sounds idealistic... But i tis only on you how deep down the rabbit hole you dare to go – there are no limitations, but yourself 

    Greetings from Slovakia - Mario

  • (2) Simply said, you establish communication with yourself.

This is a predisposition to be able to communicate effectively with your environment as well. This encompasses all areas including the physical as well as the psychical areas. This act of communication means the ability to look into yourself on things how they realy are, how they work, so you can disassembly and reassembly everything. If you can do this you understand and you do not need another motivation than this.

  • @goldensleeves We evolved and are still evolving – and here is the difference btw. then and now.. If we can deal with our resources in such a positive way, that would be something. But real motivation is not determined by external values. In fact outside motivation does not work for anyone– nor in competitive means. Why? True motivation comes from understanding. If you will get to know your heart – yourself in deepest ways you might not imagine yet – you will know what you want and need.

  • @goldensleeves just like we condition kids in school to to be competative, we can condition kids to be respectful and have good morals and always strive for the best in themselves no matter the odds. A school system/educational system built on the knowledge of nutrition, psychology, morality as main points would do wonders for children. ther eare so many resources even today to help kids become their best but the old ways have to go.

  • Larry King is an obnoxious slow witted dolt.

  • Larry king is getting nervous because he feels Jacque's intelligence. :)

  • > Music stored in servers for you to access without any physical medium

    > Flat screens built into the walls

Jacque has always been at a much higher consciousness than anyone of his time.

  • Central computer system: Internet.

  • A great writer Mesha Selimovic said, I was living inside mine cage, making of ti a cosy home, and now I m going out to a world that I'm not familiar with..

It goes something like that, mine english is not the best, meaning of that sentence can be understood in various ways.. One that is coming across mine mind is that I'm slovly entering in world of this great man.. :)

And I hope it will become reality eventualy..

  • this guy is a great man, humanistic, artistic, scientific, and rational thinker, a modern renaissance man!!

  • @Lottechoco hell yea too bad not too many people know him he is awesome!

  • @molonlave2012 Funny, you should say that, seeing how your own attitude is 'Follow and listen to him, if you wish.'

At the very least, he is 'soulless' enough to have conversations with people who reject him and listen to their point of view

  • We do have flat screens now. Not televisions.

  • so ahead of his time....

  • @Giveantake : Like I said, no kid. I am just being pragmatic for now. You sound more crazy and mad right now...just relax. Relaxation is very important before you go out and change the world...anger is no good. We are counting on you buddy :)

  • If someone knows Obama's e-mail, please forward this video. I hope Donald Trump is also watching this. He can do it!!!!

  • @tondero2100 : obama.hussain@whitehouse.us.gov

  • 4:43

we now call that the internet...

back then that idea seemed infeasable, now we are all using the internet.

i wonder if the rest of his ideas are just as feasable. they probably are if he was right about the internet in 1974.

  • first, we have to nuke all the governments and greedy bastards of the world

  • actually these "outlandish" ideas are becoming reality right now...

  • Futuristic and good ideas....but impractical. I admire the idea but we are not there yet.......sound like a sci-fi movie idea.

  • @MrTuber84 If it was possible in 1974 it's surely possible now. The reason they don't do it is because the leaders wont give up their wealth for the good of mankind. They want to live in luxury, not equally.

  • @geniusjas87

possible in 1974??? Those were ideas and concepts ....i agree those were way ahead of his time.

Pragmatically, i dont see the whole world agreeing and coming to built a new world like this....very nice ideas though. We can definitely try this model out if we find a new habitable planet.... :D

  • @MrTuber84 It is possible. I don't have time to explain everything. Why don't you watch his movies? They are very entertaining and educational Here are some links

    thevenusproject(.)com

    thezeitgeistmovement(.)com

    watch?v=EewGMBOB4Gg

    watch?v=4Z9WVZddH9w

  • hope jacque to live longer we love u so much,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • if there is someone that can explain me if something is wrong with this, speak up! i don't see any reason why this isn't realized jet. don't think in a box. nothing is ultimative. this is the future.

  • This video has only 21713 views while Justin Bieber and Eminem have millions thats why since 1974 these things that this brilliant man is suggesting havent happened yet and I don't think they will but I do certainly hope so....

  • spotify

  • pay very close attention! somewhere in this video he explains the bird kills being conducted by someone in the present time! eight : o three. and yes i have suggested this theory before i saw the video.

  • WHAT A JOKE.......LARRY ELERSON RIPPED THIS GUY OFF

  • lol Top down process(old idea of centralizing planning) < Bottom up process (new complexity based idea of emergent structure)

  • I admire his forward thinking. I have shared this dream for years but I thought I was alone. I'm glad to see that I am not.

  • Fresco is a genius because he says things that just stun you with their insight and originality and compassion for humanity but is he also deluded in the way only geniuses can be?

  • did he just talk about itunes and flat tv screens 30 years b4 they where created whens this man goin till get a nobel prize?

  • @87jreid87

I was thinking exactly the same... this guy is truly genius!

  • @87jreid87 yep, and you can add the internet and solar power.

  • great man

  • how does one purify water using radiation?

  • @expomike The same way water is cleaned with ultraviolet light. Search: "Ultraviolet Water Purification" for details.

  • amazing! in 5:30 he predicts the internet!

  • I know there are others like Jacque Fresco. Buckinster had similar ideas in his day, as did Stewart Brand.

Jacque was an amazing forward thinker, did you hear where he all but mentions digital music, flat screen tvs, etc. Just so correct with his thinking.

  • Genius we need to wake up it's been too long

  • What he proposes is what other scientist like Dr. Michio Kaku call Type 1 Civilization...I would love to hear Dr. Kaku refer to this..

  • Jacque is our Da Vinci :)

  • This man thought of this in 1974!

  • as long as the central computers don't run on windows it might work

  • @roger767 or Apple

  • @roger767

If Windows was like OSX now which has low % of market share and Unix based system such as Linux would be the king of OS (like Windows is now) virus, exploiters and so forth would design their crap where for those systems and we would be where we are now. Reason Linux and OSX is so "secure" is that most crap where makers (virus, malware etc...) design their shit for Windows.

There are security difference which make unix good but not that different ....

  • I thought this too, but being no competition or money there would be no mac or windows, there would only be the most efficient computers known to man for all man (:

  • "flatscreen built in to the wall"...what a dreamer =)

  • @ziggizazoo Exactly Zigg. This guy was thinking flatscreens in the wall, with a downloading of information, in 1974. I have that now with my CPU. And we can all have this freely, and dump fake monetary limits and sanctions. We all live here. Let's just work together freely to live and let live. Machines can handle the drudge. We can be free to think, learn, explore, develop ourselves. This is a world ready for interplanetary awareness and ET interactions, a true galactic civilization.

  • Poor guy .. he must be real frustrated

...Pushing this Venus projekt in 40+ years...and no one listens..

  • @ziggizazoo you are so right. It almost brings a tear to my eye

  • Can you image what it would be like to have something that isn't going to break down every 3 months or so :)

  • "flat screen built into the wall"

  • "10 or 15 years from now, our society will go down in history as the lowest development of man" How fucking true is that... Look at western Europe compared to North America... We're pathetic.

  • WOW this man is technologically prophetic. i mean we are just now utilizing internet tvs, timeless man. i need to meet this man before he passes how old is he now like 90ish?!

  • @Gold3nStat3KiD I'm making a point to visit him after I visit my sister its about 4 hrs out of my way but well worth it!

  • How would our lovelly, sweet, star trek generation grandhildren feel, if they were wathcing the sea creatures behaving naturally ?

I mean, they would see sharks, ripping whales to pieces, and squid eat fish alive, slowly and horrifically.

Peopel would be horrified by what they saw "outside their bubble".

Then again, it does look quite nice, and as long as [peopel could go on "adventure weekends" (back to nature), it might be quite good.

  • @AnnoyingTypoSyndrome shoot yourself

  • @pigeonpsycho:

GEt run over by a truck !

  • @AnnoyingTypoSyndrome no seriously, do yourselfa favour and shoot yourself. You're useless to the Human species if you have trouble evolving.

  • @pigeonpsycho:

No, no, I was serious, too !

Go and run under a truck, and die !

I dont give a fuck about you, so telling me to shoot myself, means nothing.

I wash shit off my arse, that I cared about, more than I care about anything you have to say, or whether you live or die. So, seriously, jump under a truck, you little fuck !

Worms like you repeat yourself because your mommy and daddy give you what you want, if yuo repeat yourself.

    (its called "spolied brat syndrome")

So, please do the world a favour - and DIE DIE DIE !

  • @AnnoyingTypoSyndrome still crying? shoot yourself

  • @AnnoyingTypoSyndrome Have you learned nothing from Mr. Fresco... This kind of shit needs to stop we need to work together not against each other!

  • what he was saying about music is only starting to be applied now... just is really far ahead off his time

  • 3:18 i hear yah... gosh.....

they should building this for a long long long time.....

  • some rich fuckhead in dubai should build this. When people se how great this works the world will be a better place.

  • @ScorpioRising07 How do i get involved with this?????? i cringe at the idea of no law or government but the ideas are awesome.

  • @ScorpioRising07 No doubt hommie

  • HE's sooo ahead of his fucking time!

  • @JohnnyLuuVietnam Don't think he spends most of time with his head in the Bible. Like how many Americans is it?

  • @Juefawn reading the bible is a total waste of time.

  • Yes, we do have to act now but where do we start from?

  • @manchise quit feeding the systems that have created this mess....now follow the Zeitgeist movemen tw Peter Joesph / Jacques Fresco....With chapters all over the world...lead...and ,most importantly...change the way you converse with each other...alter the topic of conversations....quit playing their game.....good luck!

  • Miracle Man, no, simply logic, we must be mad not 2 listen to this brilliant man!

  • Wow...he was talking about mp3's back in '74!

  • wow he knew to much at 1974 holly fuck he mentioned flat screen tv and it came out in what like 2003 wowwww

  • @edimk25 "he mentioned flat screen tv and it came out in what like 2003"

    1988:

    en. wikipedia. org/wiki/LCD_television

"In 1988, Sharp Corporation introduced the first commercial LCD television, a 14" model."

    .

    sharp-world. com/products/lcd_monitor/sharp_lcd/evolution_history

"One Sharp success in optoelectronics was the development in 1988 of the world's first 14-inch color TFT LCD. A mere 2.7 cm thick, it boasted a sharp, bright picture. This development showed that the long-awaited, wall-mount

  • "LCD TV and truly portable data communications terminals were on the horizon."

  • The designs don't outdated at all. I guess it is because they're designed practically and not over-exaggeratedly with ego.

  • I just gotta say, good point, what are kids doing sitting on their ass in school every day with no application? Its a teenage wasteland.

  • 4:50 he basically predicts itunes and the mp3 revolution

  • lol @ king "i remember five years ago i used to laugh at you, and now all this is very believable"

35 years later and it should have happened by now

  • This system at the very least makes more sense than our current one.

  • man, what a prophet!!! whats funny, is how comparatively anachronistic larry's mode of thinking is.. 'no television sets, just a screen on the wall... how do you listen to the music without a tape?' hahah!!! you're a fucking genius fresco!!! somebody put this guy in office already!!!

  • Ugh in order for this to happen, you'd have to get like 20,000 people to all agree unanimously to give up their lives and time to build something like this far away from society. Actually, I don't think getting the people to agree would be hard, it's just the tax evasion that gets ya.

  • 5:00 in, listen to what he's describing... MP3s, internet, flat screen TVs and monitors. Utterly amazing. 30 Years on and he's still trying to get people to LISTEN to what we need for the future survival, but nobody wants to hear a damn thing. They'd rather be a slave of debt, with all that could be, held back from them, due to lack of profit. So sad, what are YOU gonna do?

  • this is very informative 8)

  • hahahahahah now zaha hadid and others are building what he designed 30 years ago wow........... amazing..........

  • And now imagine this, with the technology we have today :O

  • we humans could achieve so much more than we have now

  • he describes the framework of a internet; it can be done

  • He was so on it and a head of his time. Just in time for us to make a change. We are a silly people. We will wait to long or for something bad to happen to us or the earth before we start doing what this man is suggestions. We need to start now!!

  • garbage warrior is excellant movie.

  • 1:00-1:10

  • He's basically predicting Youtube, Spotify and the internet itself.

Central computer system - the internet/servers

Flat image screen without a set - Todays televisions/computers.

Dial the music/programs you like - Spotify, youtube, torrents, netflix etc.

Kind of unsure about the ideas he poses here though, you will still need police to solve conflicts, laws, and some form of democracy to run it all. I admire his ideas, but I'm just not sure it would work out in real life.

  • @KrizzFromNorway you can't dismiss his entire hypothesis because of a couple of flaws, thats absurd...his system is better than the one we have now

  • Wooooow EXCUSE my Expresion, But this GuyJust Blew My Ass Away

The Man was so Ahead of his time !

This is Great stuff For Us the younger Generations to take Notes

INDEED The world is Collapsing due the exsesive use of stupidity and materialistic ways of living,We Gotta Wake Up People

  • Need to show this in schools across the world

  • No Thing...on this earth is earthquate proof. Depending on the power of the earthquake, any mountain, natural or man made, Will fall. Is this not the truth?

  • @sonnyandbilly no..its not the truth..it would be possible to develop earthquake proof structures by utilising skock resistant designs and specific materials

  • 5:28 - Scary to think that he was talking about Flat screen TV's in 1974...makes you think.

  • It irritates me because this video only has 7,452 veiws.

  • If Jacque's ideas are so laughable then why are so many people so obviously threatened by them?

  • he was basically thinking about mp3s and flat screens in the 1970s

  • my god... 37 years ago!

  • Comment removed

  • Listen to this guy..In 1974 he described home entertainment set to the T...Genius fucking guy

  • i was just wondering how he would pay for these elaborate things and then larry king asked it! lol...but then fresco didnt answer it lol/....sigh.

competition bad...how do you get rid of it? marx said we should put people in camps or "schools" to breed out competition. but its part of human nature. what happens to the people who can not or will not govern their need for vices like competition?

  • @unbiased000

Good question unbiased, but what I think Fresco was replying to this "How to pay" question is that the monetary system itself is corrupting and is actually not needed to create these elaborate systems. Empirically speaking, it is the material, technology, and energy that is needed to create these products. The monetary system was created by man to facilitate trade in civilization. But look at the Federal Reserve and International Banks systems with their fractional reserves today!

  • @valentin6li but that doesnt address the question..HOW is he going to pay for this to get the first city started?

  • @unbiased000

Well in the video he did say that the members would chip-in money each, I don't think would really do much though. Especially since this city has not been built after ~35 years. Under the current (self-centered) geo-political and monetary usury system, this would be really hard to accomplish, not impossible though.

Hopefully, humankind can by-pass these man-made systems to work on beneficial projects for us all. At least do away with the (non-)Federal Reserves!

  • @valentin6li you think it is not feasible in other words. you want to use a barter and trade system correct?

  • @unbiased000

Well, I would not hope for our systems to go back to the agrarian nor the barter&trade system necessarily, but look at what happen to Zimbabwe after their currency hyper-inflated! What makes you think that other countries are immune to that?

BTW, imperialist were against the idea of a republic instead of imperialistic governance when China was changing. They say it would never work. So why are you only thinking of ways within this system? Hence, I did not say it is not feasible.

  • @valentin6li "Hopefully, humankind can by-pass these man-made systems to work on beneficial projects for us all."

and why should he do that? why does he NOT is a good question too

personally i think this idea is a fantasy. nothing is free. what is the price of this city besides the monetary price?

i mean if it is feasible, HOW is it feasible to even START? you can tlak about how things are noww and etc, but thats how things ARE. so therefore HOW do you start this city?

  • @unbiased000 You finally had one comment with some substance in it ...

The idea that women are to be equal with men were also a "fantasy" at one point in time in history. Yet with industrial farming and factory (using fossil fuel instead of muscle) along with telephone. the women organized together and changed the public's view on their role in society.

It was also a fantasy to go to the moon or to fly in the sky ... good thing you aren't the Wright Brothers or Mr. Armstrong.

  • @valentin6li actually the womans lib movement is what made cultural changes (which is what yo uare tlakin about, not voting) and this was funded by the rockefeller foundation. according to one of their close friends, aaron russo, this was done to be able to indcotrinate the children (social engineering) and be able to tax the other half of the population withthe income tax

  • @unbiased000

If the global currency hypothetically hyper-inflated, then a google amount of this monetary unit would not even be able to make this city. Because people have lost faith in it's value. BTW, more than 90% of global currency is electronic - virtual reality. Yet obedience to the monetary system is what keeps it alive, because it's backed-up by the sweat and blood of future labor and other institutions like the army

"An idea's whose time has come is more powerful than standing armies."

  • @unbiased000

To be honest I do not think that The Zeitgeist Movement are not without its flaws but even more real than the electronic numbers in your bank account; is the fact that forest are shrinking, oil is peaking, fresh water is depleting, global warming is happening (go to UN or industrial reports) ... this CAN'T go on with a rising population. And our current system with its flaws sure isn't going to resolve these issues. I am talking about how things are now because we CAN change it!

  • @valentin6li ....As the population grows...all those things you mentioned above or below, will get worse. Free energy was found long ago by Tesler, it wasn't viable to governments thou, no money gain....oil is! You know this thou, don't you?

  • @unbiased000

Let me rephrase it then "Hopefully humankind can by-pass these OLD systems to work on projects benefiting HIMSELF AND HIS FUTURE GENERATIONS". That is why he should do that. The actual cost of the city is the labour, design, organization, and material that needs to be put into it. If the people working into this have the same trust it would benefit him as he puts into his country's currency (since the machines actually DOES something) than it is not "free work", it pays back.

  • @unbiased000

Finally, according to reports and scientific models, our earth is reaching multiple crises in the coming decades, which would be damaging to our species. I could sit here on YT and just criticize. Having a critical mind is good but I also prefer to keep doing more research, organize with people, and DO something. Because I think we HAVE TO. I think the Zeitgeist Movement touches on many things that people feel, know and see that needs to be changed and provides ideas that resound

  • @valentin6li global warming is debateble, and over population is sometihng people who are not scientists have to take on FAITH alone. they can only quote people.

i know that the computers they use to try and calculate scenarios of over population are like predicting the future...also they claim they got them from aliens...lol

yes i have a refrence for that.

also the zeitgeist movement contains a great deal of deception, why should i trust sometihng blindly they promote?

  • @unbiased000

Curse YT and their character limits!! Just want to say I'm not here to "win" any debates. So I'm done posting ... it won't be a good use of my time in the long run ... this city might be made, it might not be made ... that was not the important thing for me. I was actually arguing the ideology that one needs a medium of exchange to get a sustainable project started. And believed that was what Fresco was pointing out and that you misinterpreted him.

  • @valentin6li no, i didnt make any interpreations of his ideology. im talkin about the real world. im asking HOW this is feasible. it appears that your inability to answer this uestion has frustrated you, well aas long as you dont misgude that frustrsation to me for asking then i dont have a problem with that. fact is i dont see how this is realisti to start at all. i cant even get a hypothetical answer or idea of how it could begin.

  • A 1974 "Future Studies" Prospectus:

Mass populations, insect invasions, organic food resources, enclosed glass and plastic (Plexiglas) spaces, hydroponics, ultrasonic generators, cavitation and rupturing of unwanted pests -- brings to mind Starship Troopers; Bees and Colony Collapse Disorder.

Controlled construction of planetary ecological systems through underwater dams, water oxygenation processes, the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Gulf Stream are the engineering dynamics of the NOW--FUTURE.

  • For the wealthy clientele of Frank Lloyd Wright, the "Falling Water" and "Prairie" style designs, Jacque Fresco and massive human habitats -- housing for China and India in 1974...was "Far Out."

Fresco's designs are planetary in style and no doubt functional for highly concentrated populations. These habitat-creations are much like the comic-fantasy characterizations of Science Fiction and Forbidden Planet.

In 1968/69, I was overwhelmed by Clarke and Kubrick's visions of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

  • So when this starts. with the first city. you take all the lazy people trying to take advantage of this, and kick them out. It's not going to work if it just crumbles like Socialism.

  • Jacque is BRILLIANT!

  • This is an extraordinary human being.

  • flat screens? a flat image screen? dial in what you want? gee.. that's exact;y what i'm doing RIGHT NOW. Jacque Fresco = a mind not to be fucked with.

  • AND THE WORLD WILL BE ONE.........I BET MY LIFE ON IT.

  • I remember five years ago I used to laugh at you now all this is very believable! The host is hilarious lol

  • change, come!

  • I was more critical than necessary of the the venus project until i saw this interview, actually. This is really visionary and this seems to be a consequential step. Honestly, i can respect the guy, good ideas and intelligent design i'm seeing here.

  • Politicians have shown the world their behavior, we still vote for them today...(well i haven't EVER!...and very proud of this too!) WE HAVE NEVER EVER NEEDED A GOVERNMENT...EVER!!!
