I don't like the use of strings in this, part of the reason the synthesized noises were great and eerie is that you couldn't tell what was making the sounds. It added to the theme of the show (theme as in time travel and the alien environments and uncertainty of the whole thing)

i know where you are getting at now - it isnt the style of the font or it getting smaller or bigger , its just how they animated it - you will notice davids name is different in series 2 , than series 3 , 4 and up

Well actually it never been done for real so that has never been proven. When it comes to time travel all we have r theories. Besides this is science fiction, they take liberties with these sort of things, in the 2005 episode Fathers Day, it was clearly demonstrated that time could be altered, but it was mostly put back the way it was by the end of the episode but there was still a few events that were altered

Oh I made sure I recorded them for when I got back, but it isn't the same as watching it at the time, there is more of an atmosphere. Annoyingly I'm going away this year too so I'll miss the Cybermen, possibly the best x-mas special yet

I'm so annoyed. Every year I go away at xmas and miss the Chirstmas Specials. Last year (2007) I was finally able to watch it on the day but the women in my family could find the time to move to another room or quieten down for an hour so me and my uncle could watch it. I like all the Xmas episodes but I think there r some in the regular series that beat them

No. Similar, but not the same. For one thing, the electric guitar is a lot heavier in Voyage of the Damned.

none offence to the show its got pretty good acting in it

but with time travel its that if he goes back in time his presence can alter the future for example he might have breathed in air someone else was intended or spoken to people did something that effected the future

the fact that the future dosnt change suggests that he was supposed to go back in time and do those things

for example he appears in the past and then forward say 200 years he goes into the past repeating what already happened

I reqally don't understand your argument. He is a time lord, so presumably he knows what he is doing when it comes to time travel, he can change little things but if was to like stop WWII then he knows that would be a big impact on the future, too important for him to change so he would leave it alone

Ha ha no I mean a particular bit that sounds like a bit from the 80s closing theme. It kind of goes down in a descending "da da daa dumm", then there's a couple of "woo-ee-ooos" before there's a big unnecessary but cool explosion.

On this one it's the bit near the end, before that piano part starts...
