The UI is the same, the hardware is very similar and apart from the large screen size it is the same thing, however it did introduce a new breed of computers to the market, and rfevolutionized the market bro

Great video! In 1987, we got a Macintosh 512K! It didn't have a ton of games on it, but what was there was excellent in quality. When, in 1991, I read in a gaming magazine that the Sega Genesis also used the Motorola 68000X microprocessor, I wanted that console for Christmas!

@Gibsonsoup That's when it was approved. It was actually submitted in 2004. It really shows that, as Jobs mention several times, the concept of the iPad existed before the iPhone.
