The part about them ripping off their shirts weeelll..... Really they shouldn't be 'causing us to lust after them on the other side we shouldn't be allowing ourselves to lust after them. Depends, I guess, on your self control and how much you can handle before you can't help but lust. They obviously aren't thinking about us lusting when they take off their shirts though. All they're thinking about is how hot it is up there on stage under the lights running around and jumping. You would get hot.

Yeah, by what I've heard of them and by what I've heard from interviews with them, nothing would make me think that the decision was made by them OR their parents. Poor guys. It's probably Disney. Disney doesn't really like Christians...Anyway I was wondering if Brio magazine is still selling 'cause I tried to order it but I couldn't.

This video wasn't intended to call out the Jonas Brothers on not talking about their purity rings and neither was the article in Brio. We can understand why they wouldn't want to talk about purity rings but being a Christian is so much more than that. I respect your opinion but I just wanted to set things straight, we are not condemning the Jonas Brothers for not wanting to talk about their purity rings

The guys have spoken about the rings enough, In almost every account of the Jonas Brothers, they talk about the rings. Here's what I say; "If you wanna learn more about purity rings, LOOK IT UP!! They're not the only people who have them y'know!!" and I also say, "They have a rule not to speak about their personal lives."

No offence to anyone who likes, agrees with, or is affiliated with Brio Magazine.

you do realize Hollywood records pretty much controls their every move now right? Hollywood records has them on a little leash, they wont talk about their faith again until they are off hollywood records. Everlife [another christian band] didn't get to talk about their faith much at all when they were signed to Hollywood records, so they left.

I wish they would sing Christian music! (idk if they do or not..i don't really listen to them..i have but only 2 songs on my ipod)..they are so popular already..i bet they would convert people to Christianity if they turned to the Christian genre =)

I disagree. As Christians we are supposed to talk about our faith and tell people about Jesus. That does not mean shoving your religion down peoples throats though. You can talk about Jesus and not sound like you should be giving a sermon at church.

hey i get brio too! but since im 17 years old, i get brio and beyond (hopefully tehy would show the interview in both) so im hoping that if we work together we can find out how to reach them. dont comment or message their myspace. because their publicist control that too. its pretty sad and we can tell.

and b/c they're "christians" they would probably love to speak out to christian teens!

I would love to see them in Brio magazine too.

I'm sure the would if the questions about their personal life and Christianity and wearing Purity rings didn't go out control like it did in the UK and some other places prior to that.

I don't blame them.

They will probably do a interview soon after those personal questions stop being asked.

yes..i do think the jonas brothers are reserved about their faith..that's not always a bad thing but i wish they would be more open in their music or something..when you are a Christian and you have the opportunity to minister to thousands of people..why not take advantage of that? or at least give God the glory for your sucess?

i mean, in like, EVERY interview, they get asked about their purity rings. EVERY INTERVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!

they probably told their publicist that they didnt want anymore questions about that. so when they sent them questions their publicist said no questions about their purity rings.

I get brio too, and I was sooooooo disapointed when I saw this "dear susie" response! I think it's awesome that the JB's wear the rings, and I want to know more about it! like how they stay pure in the entertainment world. yeah. I read that and was really upset too. I think they do not want to talk about their personal like cause then there will be different gossip about this that and the other thing. They also probably do not make those decisions. The whole ripping the parts of shirts off. I do not think that is wrong. What ever. That is all i have to say. maybe if we just like comment the jonas brothers on myspace and stuff and ask them if they really said this, because i dont think they would say they dont want to talk about their purity rings, because they said in recent interviews that they want to be a good example. but sometimes people who interview them make it all awkward when they do talk about their purity rings, so i can understand if they did say that but im pretty sure they wouldnt say something like that.well i sure hope not....
