@999dlihcshtoR Your right. The first amendment gives us the freedom to believe what we want and what we want our kids to believe. But that does not give an excuse to groups like CAIR, who try to Islamicise our children, or Freedom From Religion Foundation, who are evangelical atheists that people do NOT have the right to believe in God or any other lesser gods. Put plainly: Government needs to get out of our beliefs and social lives.
@alielbaryeshua Except where your social life could hurt others (Second-hand smoking, Drinking while driving, having a mental disorder but still owning a gun, etc.)
kinda like capital-ism.. so then lets cut the ism off of socialism.. add the social to democracy.. Today in many Cities it's ILLEGAL to have a business in your home or garage, thanks to over zealous zoning laws. It's crushing start-ups. Ever wonder why all the industrial parks are empty? We have not had real CAPITALISM since the railroad robber barons of the late 1800s started getting special treatment.
Thomas Jefferson said, "A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have."
"croney capitilism. The only reason why America's GDP was so high in the 50's was because all the other industrialized nations had been bombed out by the Second World War, no competition means total domination of all markets for the U.S.
Notice cities and countries cluster together people.with all the empty land out there why are we ask huddled together?? Shut it all down every little thing start over.rough at first but it will smooth outin about sixty years.
They have created a frankenstein like civilization, our should I say they have fooled themselves with their own beliefs, how hysterically maddening.john public is flipflopping in his grave
It's the exact description of one problem accusing the other problem john q public is the wolf in shops clothing and the other ism guy is to stupid to hide his identity, so here we see that transferring stages into secrecy, propoganda, and globalization, referring to superiority not equality though it paints the picture of the later, basically it says lying alone isn't enough, we must allow the illusions of independence, and create them, subtle like see.
unions protect there workers, I think a fe people on here are confused. They dont take jobs away, they fight for fair wages. If anything the manufactures should be held accountable for sending jobs over seas. Why take work from people in america where the company is located, and send the work else where. If only more people in america had balls
@undefinedbmx Unions protect NO ONE, except the union hierarchy. They reward people doing minimum work for maximum benfits. There is no industriousness left in our workforce. The reason corporations go overseas is because of lower wages there. Don't worry, though, because unions are going nowhere, but, what is left of our manufacturing base is. Believe what you want, liberals, but, the greatness of a nation is defined by what they produce, not what they can take.
There has to be a balance between unions and business. Business that gets too big and can exert influence on government and gives workers no voice is very bad. But unions can be the same thing. Many unions have become very large and influential and do not take management and profits into consideration which can drive business away. Boeing vs. NLRB is a great example of abuses by unions. We must have a free system that provides proper discourse for both workers and business.
@contreeman unions are one of many reasons there is little manufacturing in America... you argue all you want about higher wages etc...remember that the first choice for manufacturing is overseas for a reason. Unions are useless if you end up with no job in the end.
If it were alll just that easy...But anyone whos ever tried to start out a business knows that it seem govt. whats yoour doors shut before you even buy doors to open.ALL the regulations, fees, taxes, etc and you're lucky to have money left to actually go into your business. And that isnt the end of it.You pay quarterly, yearly, however, but you will pay.Or you are out of business.Small Business Loans? HAAA!
using race, religion and lies to perpetual fear and hand over power to themselves. Silencing free speech. Attacking our civil liberties. I think that sounds like the conservative party.
@Rainfish14 I do believe it's the liberals who play the race card constantly, are working feverishly to remove all religion from the public square, are forcing more and more people to be destitute without the government teat to suck on, pushing for the "fairness doctrine" to silence conservative viewpoints on the air, urging the media to ignore the tea party (John Kerry), and destroying the civil liberties of babies (abortion), the sanctity of the family (destruction of marriage), etc.
@7j8i9m This reply to said opinion is brought to you by someone who cannot actually argue any facts and instead resorts to mocking. Or to put it another way, this reply to said opinion is brought to you by Comedy Central... where more idiots get their news than from any other source.
@neuronmage you're both dumbasses wow ha. you're mixing up conservatives and liberals with the corporate funded republicans and democrats in office (not counting a small %) for one thing. second you're both right about lies, bias, fear, and everything. so third, stop arguing over petty things like "civil liberties of unborn baby VS civil liberties of mom" and unite against/for the things that matter like overall freedom. comon.
Simple truths are the most effective. What was a nightnere scenario in 1950's is close to becoming reality in 2011 simply because WE THE PEOPLE wanted something more than we wanted our FREEDOMs. We worry about voting for American idiot on TV but don't go to the polls to decide who taxes us, who decides what wars are waged in OUR name, who decides what money is borrowed in OUR name & that of generations to come. If you voted for Obama, you share the blame with those who didn't vote at all.
It's insane how a nightmare scenario from the 50's, is a reality these days. America has gone from the greatest nation, to a nation that is about to collapse. The Americans are brain washed by Fox and CNN that keep telling them the country is just fine. You guys should wake up already. You are about to lose everything.
Simple messages like this remind one where we came from and what we need to keep on the front burner. In this time of crooked wall street and banking influences infecting government everything is in extreme danger from personal freedom, business , and environment right down to the bed we want to sleep in.
@B12978 Maybe we'll say that about the things we are seeing today like certain laughed at "conspiracy theories"? Time will tell. I'm older too and it's frightening to see what is happening now. Youngh people don't have this point of reference, they can only read about it.
@B12978 Do not get discouraged, There are young people today who Believe in Freedom and Capitalism, Fear not a great awakening is happening and we will take our Country back.
They predicted the state was going to be the one pushing us around, but it sure didn't end up just the state. Instead it ended up that the banks and corporations have run around trying to control all governments including ours. The government now serves the banks and corporations instead of the people.
"... everything is fine , everything is fine , everything is fine ... " - sounds like Fox News or CNN or BBC or ABC or (insert brain washing broadcasting machine of your choice here) ...
Please put BOOBS in the title to get a few more million people to view this harbinger.

If I was watching this in the 1950's I would feel pride. But as I'm watching it 60 years later, I feel anger.

@B12978 Maybe we'll say that about the things we are seeing today like certain laughed at "conspiracy theories"? Time will tell. I'm older too and it's frightening to see what is happening now. Youngh people don't have this point of reference, they can only read about it.

They predicted the state was going to be the one pushing us around, but it sure didn't end up just the state. Instead it ended up that the banks and corporations have run around trying to control all governments including ours. The government now serves the banks and corporations instead of the people.
