@KEANU157 Yeah he does have Parkinson's here, you can notice because his speech is a little slurred and doesn't come out too well.(It's not due to drinking cause he had stopped for however many years by that point). I believe that he'd been diagnosed with it for something around 8 or 9 years by this point (I think) and had been out in the public w/ it for one or two. Not entirely sure. He takes meds which almost completely ease the symptoms of it, but I think he's a little more relaxed with the

I liked Michael J. Fox's speech he was very professional and respectful towards his casting crew friends, and families. Tracy Pollan smiled and was so proud of her husband, best friend, and partner in raising their family and their careers. I could tell Michael J. Fox looked about 40+ years old or younger he looked younger than he is today at the 2000 Golden Globes. I think he was about 40 or 41 I was 23 years old in 2000 so you know I was young then.

@Counterbrilliance, I have written long posts on Megan Fox's IMDB about my religious belief which is, Orthodox Christianity and I attend a Baptist Christian church. Megan Fox attends a Catholic Church if you ever saw her portrayal as Mother Theresa it was set in a Catholic Church. This movie is fictional but it was shown in her "How To Lose Friends and Alienate People" film she did a while back. She plays actress Sophie Maes. Yes, I guess I do have a thing for Foxes but not that bad man.

He is 17 years older than me but when I was growing up he was one of the many role models I looked up to. Poor Michael! He didnt come back to the show because he had brain surgery in an attempt to help his Parkinsons. AND he never told anyone. All he said was he wouldnt be back. Yrs later it was found out he had the brain surgery. We love you Michael J Fox!! The classiest guy ever!

It hurts a little to read his book "Lucky Man".

I read his more recent book "Always Looking Up". That one seems more upbeat - which is good because that means his life has been better in the past 10 years than it was going from 1989 till this moment in 2000.

But the things he confessed to from 1989 to 1998 especially make me grateful to be myself. As a child in the 80s, I looked up to Mike as a bit of a role model - and while I admire him a lot still, I don't envy him.

Here's a hint to what he confesses to in his book...

He was miserable for some time - despite all the wealth etc he had going for him.

So when he thanks "Joyce" right here - that is his psychotherapist..

I never want to let my life be what his life became at some points.

He is still an amazing person, but when you really see what goes on in the lives of some of these celebs, at least for me, I don't want to be anyone but myself.
