I think he has a bit of Aspurgers syndrome....strange affect to some social cues (tangential references to his thought-process notwithstanding). I've heard he is outright cold to certain people, yet others he feels a kinship not unlike a father/son or mother/son.....strange coming from a man who calls emotions "bullshit". He must also get "beamed" his idle thoughts because the guy IS tuned to something different (not complaining!).

I'm not disputing what you're saying at all, it's just that this interview seems to suggest that Roche REALLY wants to impress Yorke & REALLY knows & admires Radiohead's work. The comments regarding the "sexual chemistry" in this interview may seem juvenile but you can't deny the body language! Any Google search about this just turns up lots of articles in German.

@Peewaka Definitely. It bugs me so much when people go on about how rude and arrogant Thom Yorke is. I don't see it. What I see is someone very artistically talented but who lacks the kind of personality that would be attractive to the mass media. He's blunt and outspoken, sure, but he's a great singer-songwriter and passionate about important things. Obviously I don't know him personally, but I really don't get understand why people perceive him in such a bad way.

His music just pops into his head? Such a genius.. I've been thinking that's probably how most famous musicians make their masterpieces, it's just channeled into them like some supernatural force. Makes me hope that one day I'll just start hearing good music in my head, but that'll probably never happen.

Yorke is a great speaker. Great confidence and a heavy commitment into his beliefs and ideals. He probably wouldn't like to over-analyze his lyrics too much..god bless him for who he is and for the genius music he's given us all these years with Radiohead.
