There is more evanescence in this band than in the 'actual' current evanescence. Apart from amy lee, there is no one from the original avanescence in this band. The style of this band is closer to the style of evanesence than the current evanescence. It reveals that amy on her own or with other guys can't seem to make cool sounding music.
Ya know the reason why this band is compared to EV since most of its members are from there,and they left, then they got Carly,then they make her dress and look like Amy and even made her sing like one. So the irony is there,how come if they don't like to be with EV anymore but they still continue to do these songs,so the comparison will never be gone,the fact that they are trying to be EV 2.0 is enough for most of the EV fans to hate them.Carly is good btw,she should just find her own identity.

Guys! They were telling the same things about Annette of Nightwish, after they made her quit the band. Annette and Carly are not Tarja and Amy, they have completely different voices, completely different styles, so it's not EVEN FAIR compair them. I think Carly has a better voice than Amy Lee, because Amy sings most of her songs in falsetto, while Carly is more powerful. Obviously she needs training, but that doesn't mean you can say she sucks. And the song's Ben's, so he can do what he wants.

I think they'll drop the songs of Evanescence as long as they have enough songs to fill an entire performance. With just an album on the record, they do need Evanescence songs.

Actually,WATF was so successful, they were kicked out from their Label already, so they are standing in the same place a dude playing guitar in a bus is =)

@machatago ...don't get me wrong, I love Amy and Evanescence but there are things you just shouldn't do, they were a great team and Amy lost it for nothing, in the end she had to re-take Ben's style for the new album and it sound way better than the open door. The good news is EV is back and now we also have WATF, so everybody should stop complaining and just enjoy both bands.

If youpay attention to it, you'll notice that Evanescence is waaay more complex and dynamic than Fallen..guitars and drums on fallen were pretty much the same on all of the songs, in Evanescence each song is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

Guys! They were telling the same things about Annette of Nightwish, after they made her quit the band. Annette and Carly are not Tarja and Amy, they have completely different voices, completely different styles, so it's not EVEN FAIR compair them. I think Carly has a better voice than Amy Lee, because Amy sings most of her songs in falsetto, while Carly is more powerful. Obviously she needs training, but that doesn't mean you can say she sucks. And the song's Ben's, so he can do what he wants.

I think they'll drop the songs of Evanescence as long as they have enough songs to fill an entire performance. With just an album on the record, they do need Evanescence songs.

I really think Carly and wrtf should stick to their own stuff even though Ben had a huge part in writing this song, AMY has more of a touch to this song, can control her voice greatly, and really gets INTO the song (emotionally) and with the piano altogether. it just doesn't fit Carly well, she has a good voice but the vocals on this song don't go with her...

Her voice looks like Amy's voice, if you close your eyes, you can easily be tricked. That's what I don't agree with her. Carly have enough talent and talented friends to create her own good style and finally get out of Amy's shadow. People will always compare Carly to Amy because (I believe this is Ben's fault) she trying to "cover" Amy. In my opinion, Evanescence and We are the Fallen should fuse into a new outstanding band, because both Carly, Ben and Amy are great musicians. love them all. :D

My Immortal=part of Fallen= Evanescence record= Evanescence legally belongs to Amy Lee. So everything is legal here. Ben can play his old music if he wants, but he won't get very far. Actually,WATF was so successful, they were kicked out from their Label already, so they are standing in the same place a dude playing guitar in a bus is =)

evanescence is like my fav band and amy is mi idol!! i totally love her, and this song was written for evanescence, it is actually my fav song (also breathe no more and going under hehe) , but they're just making a COVER and carly has also an incredible voice, i used to hate her, but it's not her faul that ben wants his own amy, plus WATF is a good band...

Ben Moody wrote this song so he can has every right to play his own song and for all the evanescence fans worshiping amy then im sure you don't know the story behind this song, "According to Moody, the song is about "a spirit staying with you after its death and haunting you until you actually wish that the spirit were gone because it won't leave you alone." Moody also stated in the Fallen booklet that he dedicated the song to his grandfather"
