  • poem song. beautiful

  • looks like the freak from "the hills have eyes" made a hit!

  • Rzadko powstaje coś tak idealnego.

  • Heard the DJ playing this at Möbel Olfe last Thursday and we were like, what the fuck is this? I hope we get to see her perform soon.

  • They'll use words to kill us all.

  • I'm well over 50, and I like it. Its...different. I like it. Has an emotive quality. yeah I'm probably an aging hippy. Lol.

  • Who knew the Kazon made hipster music?

  • i love the tempo of this song

  • bela bela bela

  • Hipsters bitching about other hipsters...that's new.

  • @blakbones18 Everyone is a hipster these days, apparently.

  • Ok sure I enjoy it, but I can admittedly see where Fantano is coming from, and like he said at the start of the review it was his OPINION, he didn't feed it to anyone as fact.

Also what will Planningtorock give you that The Knife wont give you but better?

  • beautiful... A lot of drama in it, and light at the same time...

  • Précieux

  • Love it!

  • This genious

  • The rest of W is pretty bad, but this song is truly truly genius.

  • what a wank

  • fuck me in the ars!

  • this is bloody good

  • her vocal effects are hidous and gut-wrenching, but it's still wonderful

  • i love that smile at 3:00

  • planningtorock dzaan magaria

  • I already liked Planningtorock but this is just excellent.

  • The Part from 2.24 is epic♥

  • @Irietwins I totally agree.. =0)

  • Planningtorock is NOT a band, but the project of a single woman called Janine Rostron. She is my current musical hero.

  • This is my no. 1 fav tune right now! Overplay!

  • Found them on a video of a Photoshoot of Xavier Dolan on Vogue. :D

  • Brilliant brilliant band, sound. Beautiful and haunting. Like Fever Ray but also unique in there own sense. Evolution in music.

  • this isn't creepy at all. planningtorock is a very beautifully evolved project

  • I like the psychedelic touch.. open space d.. :-)

  • Pozdrav za Elenuuuu ;) Fotkacu te, ne moras da spavas sa mnom....

  • ovaj se jebao s jednorogom i dobio sina

  • The instrumentation are excellent. I absolutely dig the synthesizers and what I think are the strings. What I cannot stand is her VOICE. Her VOICE terrifies the crap out of me. If there is a karaoke version, I'll probably buy it.

  • Great atmosphere <3

  • zola jesus meets q lazzarus

  • @picchionero except PTR has been around much longer

  • 49 leute ham ihr nosn brocha

  • ...was intrigued after reading an interview...and the facial..influences of mathew barney..quite possible me thinks...musically...some laurie anderson in this track I also think...which is cool..as both artists got a lot to offer..one to watch? maybe.

  • >I Love it ...i love it so much :I

  • Where are all these retards coming from? In the comment sections, I mean.

  • @AgalinSane theneedledrop

  • BYE! I'm off to Fever Ray!

  • @adsbegone never come back

  • Janine, I'm addicted to you !! ♥

  • So awesome! I love it!

  • LOL DONT BE SURPIRSIEDS I EM RPREISPING NOT Y I'S

  • I think this song is beautiful and quite touching not to mention a hit! This androgynous / queer sound and look I find extremely interesting. There are clear references but when done in this way I find it original. :)

  • You Fantano clones are TRIPPING. If this disturbs your sensibilities it is because you are mindless hipsters who cannot think for yourselves. To my ears and eyes, this is in fact sheer genius. It's provocative and highly intelligent -- unlike Fantano.

  • Come on guys, it's not THAT bad.

  • i like TND and this song. GET AT ME YALL LOL.

  • Rather hilarious how there's an influx of comments after being reviewed by needledrop/Pitchfork. They're both creating armies of kids who can't discover or enjoy music that hasn't been validated by someone else.

  • @MrLotteKestner Enjoy music that hasn't been validated by someone else? Are you kidding? Shit if it weren't for theneedledrop and various other music blogs I wouldn't know half the content existied. Do you honestly think someone else's "validation" forms an general opinion for the public? Fuck no it doesn't! Ant hated this album and gave it a 2. Yet, I'm really enjoying it and if it weren't for his "validation" and OPINION HOW THE FUCK WOULD THESE "KIDS DISCOVER IT"???? CHEW on that....

  • @mike22490 You seem... mad. Take a Xanax.

  • @mike22490

    excellent and fitting response.

  • @MrLotteKestner

Perhaps instead of expecting everyone to have hours to research good music and pissing on those that give light to some just enjoy!

Oh and I could care less what people think in reviews, that is what my ears are for.

But dont worry your SOO INDIE!

  • @MrLotteKestner dunno i just heard it on a bookshop and thought it was amazing, asked the guy for the name and now I'm here

  • @MrLotteKestner and how did you discover them??

  • @MrLotteKestner

It's so hilarious I fell out of my chair laughing ... except not really. Everyone gets their music from somewhere and evidently these sites (which I don't personally use) are promoting good music ...

So why the fuck not use them? I doubt anyone who dislikes the music forces themselves to listen to it just because they heard it on either one ...

It's called leverage ... we're leveraging the internet to faster discover good obscure bands ... so why be a prick about it?

  • @MrLotteKestner I found Planningtorock on Last.fm. I heard of her about a year ago. I'm so hipster.

  • @MrLotteKestner Some ppl have busy lives mate and haven't got the time to find good music themselves that's why i use needle drop. what's so wrong with that and i make my own choice whether i like it or not, whats annoying is ppl like yourselves who think there so crash hot because they happen to have found a band/artist before it got a little popular. ALL HAIL MRLOTTEKESTNER FOR BEING SUCH A HIPSTER and probably unemployed

  • @MrLotteKestner I think you are wrong. I think its a brilliant thing that there are people like Fantano or Velocitiesinmusic that introduce the public to new stuff or music they would have not discovered before, rather than resorting to shitty electro pop/rap. I, for one, check out some of these bands and sometimes I will like the band regardless of the review or opposite way around. Its about discovering music, not making someone's opinion your own.

  • @MrLotteKestner Wouldn't those kids just be looking at the Monthly Picks at Pitchfork? Just seeing that it's on a website doesn't mean it's validated. That cyanide band is on websites. Is that validated?

  • @MrLotteKestner needledrop, if anything, invalidates every fuckin tune he bibs on about.

  • @MrLotteKestner Or...there's a lot of music out there that would go unlistened to without places like needledrop/Pitchfork bringing them wider attention.

  • lol son, did he use fruity loops or sumtin?

  • I Have little dark nice the Cure vibrations

    wunderfull Komposition

  • Rebecca Black. Take notes.

  • You people saying this sucks are f*cking weird, not her or her music.

  • This makes complete sense to me. That can't be good.

  • really creepy...

  • This song is horrible, but I still love it . Janine is wonderful.

  • Hmmm... not great but I'd prefer this over Justin Bieber.

  • Fucking Fantano drones up in here. Listen to it before you comment you fucking idiots.

  • Not sure if like...

  • I kinda like this song

  • yves klein

  • LISTEN TO IT BEFORE YOU COMMENT YOU FUCKS>

  • Chuchesta

  • I actually quite enjoyed it alone on a saturday night.

  • this wouldn't be bad if it were satire

  • Fantano

  • Trying WAY too hard.

    Or

    Not trying at all.

  • @timbalin45 daw, did you get that from the needledrop who got that from pitchfork?

  • @alucardisdumb "Who got that from Pitchfork"? They gave it a way more positive review than he did.

  • LOVE the lyrics, so heartfelt.

  • @LukeCowanMusic Of course he is kidding

  • @LukeCowanMusic Well maybe it doesn't make sense to you. But it does for others. And her obviously. Lyrics don't have to be literal and in your face all the time. These are subtle lyrics that seem to come from her stream of consciousness.

  • really awesome video

  • I wish music like this was more popular in north america. all they listen to over there is plastic, stale shit. This is real music!

  • I curious, but what is up with the second horn or bump on the bridge of her nose? I love this song and I have to ask. Is it makeup or was she born with it?

  • This reminds me of the "Lost Boys" for some reason.

  • BE MINE JANINE

  • This is AMAZING. Omg I can not WAIT for this to drop! first a new iamamiwhoami track revival, then I discover this. sooooo awesome <3

  • simply beautiful.

  • @graveboy1 no it's not... it's make-up.

  • @JcFuentes85 "outlook" is quite correct german english u know hehe

  • @graveboy1

    make up :)

  • @graveboy1 It's make up. That's why the little kid has the same look. She likes masks.

  • @graveboy1 Its makeup. She's a complete performance artist.

  • @graveboy1 It's her real face.
